RE: Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Cprice1000 2
Yes, I am still intent on going ahead and trying to become an admin. I've dropped out once, not again! :) --Cprice1000talk2me 00:07, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
I have a problem
Eagles, I need some advice on the proper place and procedures for filing a complaint against an administrator for violation of WP procedures and bad-faith deletion of files. Please see the discussion at User:Zscout370's talk page and File talk:Florida Gators logo.svg. Thanks. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 12:51, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
- I can't really help you out with the dispute, but I can point you to WP:ANI where reports of misconduct are typically filed. Only go to ANI as a last resort, however, because it is a dramafest over there. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:24, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
- Good advice, as always, Eagles. Hopefully, we're mostly past the dramafest portion this little dust-up. You missed most of that while you were working your day job. Admin in question has restored the improperly deleted logo file, and it's been restored to the article pages. Now, we're engaged in a talkfest on his discussion page. "Better to jaw-jaw, than war-war," right? Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 21:05, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
- I've been inactive recently, and usually I will go through my watchlist everyday, but I haven't because I've been busy. Discussing is a much better thing to do than edit warring, of course. Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:43, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

Navboxes, succession boxes, etc.
BTW, have you weighed in on expanding the use of the new upgraded CFB coach navboxes to the NFL coaches, and then deleting the last of the succession boxes? You may want to take take a look at the new FBS coach navboxes and the discussion on the WP:NFL talk page. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 21:05, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up, and if any discussion pops up which I should be involved in while I'm "inactive," feel free to let me know here. Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:44, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
Protections for Michigan Wolverines football and Rich Rodriguez
Eagles247, happy new year. Can we put protections on Michigan Wolverines football and Rich Rodriguez? The shit-storm of vandalism is likely to keep up given Rodriguez's canning. Thanks. Jweiss11 (talk) 21:02, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
- I protected Michigan Wolverines football for two weeks, and someone already beat me to protecting Rich Rodriguez. (BTW, do you think Harbaugh will choose Michigan over the NFL?) Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:48, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking care of that. Sounds like Harbaugh isn't going to Michigan. Jweiss11 (talk) 19:26, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- No problem. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:10, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Could you protect or lock an article for me?
I would like Vince Young protected or locked until he is really cut or traded, to prevent people from making untrue edits until then. RevanFan (talk) 08:29, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
- Looks like another admin has taken care of it. Sorry for the slow reply, I'm currently very busy and somewhat inactive. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:00, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
Template:MrIrrelevant
Have you considered bolding the draft years? It will make each year/player stick out from one another more clearly (akin to {{NBA NumberOne Draft Picks}}). What do you think? Jrcla2 (talk) 14:23, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

Edit summary
Would you like that edit summary deleted? --Stephen 01:00, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, good idea. I have deleted the edit. Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:01, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
The page was recreated by the same author of the original page. He did not read reasons why it was deleted and recreated it. I nominated it two weeks ago, i think, and i think that a consensus was met. Rusted AutoParts (talk) 12:41 14 January 2011 (UTC)
- I don't necessarily think consensus was met here. One "delete" !vote (and no other !votes) does not qualify as consensus. I'll let this second nomination run its course, and hopefully consensus can be met this time. Eagles 24/7 (C) 21:37, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
Happy Decade :)
Baseball Watcher Lets Chat has bought you a whisky! Sharing a whisky is a great way to bond with other editors after a day of hard work. Spread the WikiLove by buying someone else a whisky, whether it be someone with whom you have collaborated or had disagreements. Enjoy!
- Happy decade to you, too. Eagles 24/7 (C) 23:32, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
Sean McDermott page protection
I requested page protection for Sean McDermott at wp:RPP#Sean McDermott because of vandalism but nobody has responded. Since your an admin can you get that done? Baseball Watcher Lets Chat 00:35, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
- Done I was going to protect after one more count of vandalism, but I didn't realize you had requested protection. Eagles 24/7 (C) 01:17, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
Thanks! Baseball Watcher Lets Chat 01:21, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
AFL help
Hello,
Pats1 referred me to you as someone who could possibly help me out, so i'll copy and paste what I said to him..
Me and a few others are trying to bring the AFL pages up to date, is there anyway you can help me out on a few things? Like making a true infobox for each team other than just the generic "USfootball team" infobox? Kind of similar to the NFL or UFL's? Also, do you think you could make a uniform for each AFL team like you have for the UFL? Let me know if you could help me out, I can't find anyone who knows how to do any of this stuff.. including myself, please help!!
--Alf42069ps (talk) 00:22, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- Is this for the Arena Football League or the American Football League? Template:Infobox NFL player, while not distinct for specifically the AFL, is a very good infobox and could support AFL players, if needed. I'm not the guy to ask for the uniforms (Pats1 would be better, but I'm not sure he's the best for that). Eagles 24/7 (C) 04:01, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
I was speaking of the Arena Football League.. I was talking about the Template:NFL team, do you think you could copy it to suit every AFL team? Like set it up how the NFL has it for their teams, only for the AFL teams, respectively.. You don't have to apply it to every team, I can do that part, I just don't know much about code on how to design it and was wondering if you could help with that part. I would much appreciate it your help..
Thanks!

- A template called Template:AFL team exists, and it is being used on many AFL team pages. Does that help? Eagles 24/7 (C) 16:07, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
