If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Justo Almario, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 11:22, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Talk:Justo Almario for why your changes have been reverted, and coninue any discussions about article improvement there. -- Whpq (talk) 11:26, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, EBManagement, may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because represents the name of a company contrary to policy WP:CORPNAME. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may file for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you. -- Whpq (talk) 11:28, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How to address article concerns

[edit]

The content you have been adding to this article is unusable under Wikipedia's core content policies, I'm afraid. It is not neutral or verified. Accordingly, it has again been removed, and the article has temporarily been semi-protected to help guard against its restoration. If necessary, the article may be fully protected to prevent anyone from editing it, or the accounts used to add such content may be blocked. Obviously, this would not serve you well, and it would not serve Wikipedia well, either. Wikipedia's editors prefer up-to-date information, and would welcome your assistance in updating this article if done within proper processes.

The links you have been given above are valuable, particularly Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and our frequently asked questions for organizations. Also of potential interest to you is Wikipedia:Contact us/Article problem/Factual error (from subject). While that page documents what to do when there is an error in an article about a person you represent and is not immediately useful, it contains information you may wish to retain for future reference in case problems do occur.

In terms of helping to update the article, you have several options. You can post on the article's talk page the information that you believe should be included and tag it {{edit request}}. A contributor who is not connected to the subject will review it and, if he or she agrees that it is appropriate, add it in. Please note that information should be as factual as possible. You should be sure to include reliable sources to verify the information. Wikipedia's policies do not permit publishing previously unpublished information (see Wikipedia:No original research), and there is very little that our policies permit verifying through the subject's own website or sources connected to him.

Alternatively, you may wish to visit a general forum related to the subject of your article to request assistance. In this case, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Jazz might help. If you request it there, with sources, Wikipedians interested in music may be willing to update the article in accordance with policies and guidelines.

In either case, please be sure to plainly note your connection to the article's subject. This is required to remain in compliance with our conflict of interest guideline.

If you have questions about this, please feel free to drop my talk page. Alternatively, we have a help desk which is typically manned around the clock by volunteers. You can even ask your questions here, by placing {{help me}} (brackets and all) next to them, and a volunteer will come to assist.

Thank you. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 22:19, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, EBManagement, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 04:39, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
