Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Biometric voter registration, from its old location at User:E-DemSnoopy/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Jupitus Smart 18:42, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Biometric voter registration has been accepted

[edit]
Biometric voter registration, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.
The article has been assessed as Start-Class, which is recorded on the article's talk page. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

Curious

[edit]

So, I'm curious about this personal Microsoft Outlook "safe link" that contains the name of former Smartmatic Marketing Communications Manager, Ernesto Parisca. Can you explain why you placed this link containing the name of a previous employee who hasn't been with the company since 2014 that has their name in a link surrounding a 2017 event? I also find it interesting that these Microsoft "safe links" are used as a real-time security feature that protects "specific people or groups, or for the entire organization", with Parisca and the Smartmatic website being included in this URL. It appears that this is a personal URL of Ernesto Parisca from his employer provided Smartmatic Outlook account (HTML characters in the URL include "ernesto.parisca%40smartmatic.com" → ernesto.parisca@smartmatic.com). --ZiaLater (talk) 10:40, 25 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also, E.Parisca was previously involved in the Smartmatic article and was a sockpuppet involved in the initial COI edits. Just wanted to inform you since your account was created shortly after he was blocked.--ZiaLater (talk) 10:53, 25 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hehehe ZiaLater, you are definitely being truly paranoic about the whole Smartmatic article. I just can't believe that as soon as any editor touches it, you want to look for the most incredible reasons to imply she/he has a COI with it. Well, for your information, I honestly have no idea why or how works the link you are mentioning, I thought I made a normal wikilink (sorry if it didn't work, and thank you if you fixed it! It seems to be working fine), but if you want to explain your conspiracy theories, please be my guest. I am just going to tell you in advance, and once more time, that I am not connected to Smartmatic nor its employees nor Ernesto Parisca. If you just don't believe me or don't want to take my word for it, and you wish to ask for another (or as many as you would like!) sockpuppetry investigation, please do so! I am completely open to be investigated as much as you need it for your peace of mind ;) I am just very sorry that you will keep wasting administrators valuable time with this nonsense. THank you anyway for being that concern about this particular article, that I can just imagine it is a topic/company very close to your heart.— Preceding unsigned comment added by E-DemSnoopy (talkcontribs)
@E-DemSnoopy: I just hate COI edits and sockpuppets, that's all. This URL is interesting to me. Do you have any idea how that link with that particular URL occurred or where you may have copied it from?--ZiaLater (talk) 11:30, 25 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Honestly, no idea...E-DemSnoopy (talk) 11:33, 25 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

From what I have read, with this Microsoft "Safe Links" feature, "URLs within an email are 'rewritten' similar to how a URL shortening service works". So the URL you provided is from an email of a particular user, in this case, potentially from Ernesto Parisca's Smartmatic email (ernesto.parisca@smartmatic.com). These links also appear to involve potential security vulnerabilities.--ZiaLater (talk) 11:54, 25 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Basically if you post the words of others we need release of said words under an open license or else it is a copyright violation
Also as you appear to be paid to edit, you need to disclose that. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 17:35, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Dispute

[edit]

Hello, I am reaching out to you about a recent dispute you were involved in regarding the Smartmatic article. From my understanding, user ZiaLater reported your account as well as Carriedevalle23's for a possible conflict of interest. I am writing an in-depth article about the management of Wikipedia and I am trying to learn more about situations like yours. Would you be willing to talk to me more about this situation? --Investigativereporter (talk) 14:41, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
