Appropriate for an encyclopedia?
[edit]As outlined in WP:INDISCRIMINATE, Wiki is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Does the scan of the manual really belong? VQuakr (talk) 08:53, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
Not sure
[edit]I am not sure that this is suitable as an article, so I hope that I can get guidance about it. I don't think that the information is available digitally elsewhere, so I would like to continue with the scanning process, using wiki editting tools. Maybe it should be stored as a reference for Wikipedia or others to use? Dwarner30uk (talk) 09:47, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- Out of curiosity, is T.O. 21MLGM25C-I-2 still classified? It might make the most sense for this document to be moved to a subsection of your user page, that way it will still exist and will not need to meet the criteria for an article. As for finding a home for this as an internet source, I would imagine that there are several websites that host this sort of documents. Would WikiLeaks take it as it is not classified but not exactly common either? VQuakr (talk) 05:04, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
UNCLASSIFIED
[edit]I bought this manual from the museum shop at Tucson AZ. T.O. 21MLGM25C-1 TECHNICAL MANUAL OPERATION USAF MODEL LGM-25C MISSILE WEAPON SYSTEM OPERATION THIS PUBLICATION SUPERSEDES TOPS 140 DATED 20 APRIL 1983 AND TOPS 141 DATED 19 MAY 1983. THIS PUBLICATION IS SUPPLEMENTED BY T.O. 21M-LGM25C-1-2 WHICH IS CLASSIFIED TO PERMIT THE BASIC PUBLICATION TO BE UNCLASSIFIED. PUBLISHED UNDER AUTHORITY OF THE SECRETARY OF THE AIR FORCE I had a look at WikiLeaks but their website is down, seems to be a long-term block. Can you give me a clue about moving the article data to my user page please. Thanks. Dwarner30uk (talk) 12:44, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
