- It was a large paragraph that was 100% original research. It had no business being there. It should have been removed long ago. DurinsBane87 09:23, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- I have removed the analysis section. In the future, please include an edit summary with your edits, particularly when you are removing content or making major changes, to explain your edits. Otherwise, I am likely to blindly revert them. Andrew_pmk | Talk 09:27, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I mentioned it on the talk page, i forgot to do it on the edit summary as well.DurinsBane87 09:50, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

How pages are made?
[edit]How is it made? 0.o i'll bookmark this, and get back with you.jus post here
- I'm sorry, I'm not entirly sure how. I'm sure it's somewhere among the guidelines or something. I've never done it.DurinsBane87 23:23, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- you said that when i put up the SSBB Confirmed section...--Hitamaru 23:27, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- OH, that's what you meant. OK, well it'll probably be discussed in greater detail in the SSBB talk page, but the basic gist of it was that the article doesnt need to have all information released on a game. Also, there's a Super Smash Bros. series page that has a chart of all the characters in all the games and which games they appeared in. DurinsBane87 23:37, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- but whatabout the items, music, and stages. I had. took me 30 minutes to find and put it all together.--Hitamaru 23:40, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- the confirmed stages were in the article, and there were discussions every day about which items and such were too trivial to bother mentioning. Look at the other Smash Bros. pages. Our article should look like those articles. DurinsBane87 23:43, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- BUT! the pokeballs and the Cracker cannon are going to be the MAIN weapons D:! Did you see the Cracker Cannon. ITS A BFG!
- it's just a weapon. We have no idea how powerful it is. Pokeballs were in the other games too. and saying that any weapons are going to be the Main weapons is speculation. There were no main weapons in the other smash bros games, so there's no reason to assume there will be one in this game.DurinsBane87 23:47, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- i have proof!http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/items/item02.html! that's the official site if anyone bother going to nintendo.com
- that article says nothing about how powerful or useful it will be in the game. It just says it's a shooting weapon. There are lots of those in these games. it's still pretty trivial. DurinsBane87 23:58, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- shouldn't be atleast added? 0.0 What about the stages!
- No, it shouldn't because it's not very important. The hammer isn't mentioned in the other articles. As for the stages, two of them ARE mentioned, and they're mentioned because they have unusual characteristics to them. But we need to avoid writing about too many stages until the game is released because the stages shown in trailers and such may not end up in the game, and because alot of speculation ends up being put on the page.DurinsBane87 00:13, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Stages
[edit]The newest stage of Delfino plaza isn't mentioned and it is confirmed and is unique(you are moved all over the island). I understand that this is kind of a copy of a previous stage from melee, but so is Yoshi's island and battlefield. So long story short why not mention Delfino plaza?Sasst82 05:45, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- It used to be in there, I'm actually suprised to find it's gone. You can go ahead and throw that with the other two, just don't over elaborate. Keep it simple. DurinsBane87 05:49, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Manhunt 2
[edit]Thank you for taking the time to stop by the Manhunt 2 talk page and hammer out an agreeable solution to the issue concerning the info in the info box. 72.69.111.146 14:58, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
I think the difference between this "edit war" and most others is that the parties involved were more concerned with getting the facts straight instead of forcing one person's particular view point. It just so happens, the facts in this particular situation are so interesting. While I have no plans to purchase Manhunt 2, I personally will be following this story just to see how it turns out. 72.69.111.146 16:24, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Deletion
[edit]...We could actually source most of it to zelda.com. It should be easy enough. I kind of think the way we set it up, the places were notable, but oh well. In any case - it would probably be best on the zelda wikia, if you can move it over there without messing up what they already have - maybe just contact an admin over there, have them put it on their userspace, and then they merge any useful info.
- But yeah - I'm fine with moving fiction articles off of wikipedia. I like the wikias better anyway.KrytenKoro 07:45, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit]They're all saying the same thing - and it is maintaining a standard. Benoit was never convicted in a court of law, thus he is not a criminal. The nature of murder-suicide is a separate category - you can't just group him with the likes of Paul Bernardo. --Jay(Talk) 16:41, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- ok, I just figured that since he fit into those categories he should pop up with all the others when those catogories were searched in. Oh well. DurinsBane87 16:46, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Good call on Zelda II
[edit]Hi there, Just wanted to let you know that I agree with your most recent reversion on the Zelda II page. I'd have done the same thing. (This is the proper place to tell you that sort of thing, isn't it?)
- Yea it is, and thanks. It was false information, since there's obviously no similar move in Ocarina, Majora's Mask, or and of the Top-down zelda games. DurinsBane87 05:43, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
SSBB Stuff.
[edit]December 3rd is the release date, and last time I checked, it wasn't on the page anywhere.
Ah, yes. Thanks for pointing that out :)
A History of Violence
[edit]The entire point of the movie was that Joey's instinct for incredible violence was just that, instinctual, and was shared by his son. This needs to be in the article. Please discuss if you wish to revert. Stillstudying 18:19, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
LoZ minor edits
[edit]Hey there, I don't know if you'd noticed that a lot of minor edits to the LoZ pages have recently been made by someone called cocoapropo. In my opinion, the vast majority of these changes (even while minor) are worse than the original. I've already spoken with them about it, and while they seem friendly, the conversation has not yielded any result. I really don't want to keep dealing with these edits, as they show no signs of fading, and the experience is frustrating and saddening, with little hope for resolution on my end.
I was wondering if you either had any advice, or if you had similar sentiments and knew how to deal with it. Thanks, Zixor 16:53, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- I would just revert the edits that don't make sense, i've done it a few times. DurinsBane87 18:10, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
He just re-reverts them, and I don't want to get into a revert war; It's not fun at all, and I only do this for fun....
Cloverfield
[edit]The talk page for Cloverfield has had a lot of inane discussions that have barely been focused on improving the article. I would suggest being bold and removing any irrelevant discussion (citing forums and fan sites in particular). I plan to do the same and have put up a notaforum template as an indicator. The article has barely changed for the better with all the comments that have been posted. —Erik (talk • contrib) - 03:02, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Joker Knife Image
[edit]Since it is an official publicity shot, please stop removing the image from The Dark Knight's page. Doing so without a verifiable reason may be considered vandalism. --CmdrClow 07:15, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- Nobody else is removing the image based on your claims, so what you're doing can qualify as vandalizing an article. Just stop. --CmdrClow 20:47, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, i saw someone else revert it saying the same exact thing, so don't call me a vandal or make false claims that you can't back up. DurinsBane87 22:30, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- The claims that you made were unwarranted up to a point. No need to be an asshole. --CmdrClow 22:34, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- How was I being an asshole. You called me a vandal for disagreeing with you, and then asserted that i was the only editor reverting the picture. In the last 24 hours 2 other editors reverted the picture. So you made false claims. I then asked you not too. I fail to see how I was being an asshole. DurinsBane87 22:38, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- This is an old topic, just drop it. Definitely not in the mood for it. --CmdrClow 22:41, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism Revert
[edit]Nah, it's okay. I just meant he likes to do the count himself; you didn't step any toes reverting the vandalism. =) -WarthogDemon 15:10, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my user page. =) There was no harm in updating my counter. I do like to increment the counter myself, but it's no big deal if I don't. I do have this habit where if the vandal increments the counter, I'll undo it and then redo do it. Call it a quirk of mine. Anyways, thanks again. =) -- Gogo Dodo 16:04, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Uncivil Brawl editor
[edit]you and i both know who i'm talking about. can you help me figure out how to get this user in line or something? they're being really uncooperative and left some similar comments on my talk page. isn't that a personal attack? FyreNWater 09:22, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Wrongful Deletion
[edit]Why did you flag it for deletion? If you had read the talk page, I did what people said to keep it a legit article. (written by NibblerJr)
- I did read the talk page. The talk page lists a bunch of things wrong with the article. You can defend your case on the deletion discussion, if you wish. Also, add your signature by placing 4 "~" marks after your sentence. DurinsBane87 03:07, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
