Logo problems

[edit]

I think you are associated with Xavier, and I want to make sure you realize what you have done. You have just released the school's logo to anyone in the world to do with whatever they want. I'm not sure you have the power to do that, and, if you do, you probably don't want to do that. Let me know if that's not what you wanted, and I'll help you do it right.—Kww(talk) 02:08, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

if you don't know how to answer, just click here and save when you are done.—Kww(talk) 02:17, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I thought. What you did, though, was release the school's logo for use by anyone, anywhere, for anything. I don't think that's what you wanted to do. I think you wanted the school to keep control over it's own logo, didn't you? Not give it away to competitors?—Kww(talk) 03:11, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Now that you've given me permission, I'll take care of it for you. It will take about a day, and your logo might disappear from the site for a minute or two sometime. I'll let you know when it's complete.—Kww(talk) 03:26, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
All fixed. The Wikipedia copy is now on English Wikipedia, not on Wikipedia commons, and is marked as being the property of Xavier. The copy on Wikipedia commons that was marked improperly has been deleted.—Kww(talk) 14:30, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
