If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mae Eleanor Frey requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. The page Mae Eleanor Frey has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done for the following reason:

New editor bypassing AFC for Draft:Mae Eleanor Frey: Early 20th Century Pentecostal Matriarch

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your draft really needs to go through the AFC review process, and it needs a fair bit of work before it's ready. The points which initially strike me:
  • It doesn't read like, nor is it structured like a biography you'd find in any encyclopedia. If you add
{{subst:biography}}
to the top of your draft, save it, then go back to edit it, you'll have the skeleton structure of a biography to work with.
  • The referencing your draft mimics is WP:INCITE. Hard-coding reference numbers is time-consuming and prone to breakage.
  • Ibid. One thing you can almost guarantee is that another editor will add a reference (B) between your reference (A) and your following Ibid, breaking the connection, and inviting other editors to conclude that the facts which the Ibid says are supported by (B) are unsupported and remove them. Ibid works in print, it doesn't work on a continually evolving piece like a Wikipedia article.
Wikipedia:Citing sources#Repeated citations shows you how to reuse citations in a wiki article.
It's even easier if you use the ProveIt gadget ... Preferences → Gadgets → Tick ProveIt (classic version) is a tool that adds a graphical user interface to find, edit, add and cite references
Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 11:20, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
