Request reason:

Hello Gadfium. Why you think I did vandalism. Please explain. Drabdullayev17 (talk) 08:12, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This, this, this and any other edit in which you removed the name of the largest city and replaced with "capital" either indicate vandalism or a lack of competence. At best, these edits were pointless. They reduce rather than improve information. It is concerning that you do not understand this. I'm tempted to block you indefinitely or till you do understand. Your other edits have been productive, so you are only blocked for a short time. Please do not repeat the types of edits that lead to your block. Or you will receive a longer block.

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Gadfium I just change infobox some country articles. but it is not vandalism because capital cities also largest cities.
<!--Name of country/territory's largest city. Use "capital" (without quotation marks) if it's the capital.-->
So why you block me? --Drabdullayev17 (talk) 08:21, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Dlohcierekim. I did this edits because documentation page of {{Infobox country}} says if largest city is capital we can use like my edits. So I changed it. But I understand that it is not necessary. Can you unblock me now, please?
I have unblocked you, and I apologise for the block. I was not aware that the infobox suggested this.-gadfium 17:15, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

[edit]

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Mincivan, Zangilan, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. AntonSamuel (talk) 18:52, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello AntonSamuel please explain why you revert my edit? Because there is a source for this edit. Azerbaijan Army liberate this town today. What is your reason? Drabdullayev17 (talk) 18:55, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, please include sources for your edits - if Aliyev has stated that the town has been captured, this can be included in the article (emphasizing that it is he that has claimed this). If you can find a neutral and reliable source that reports it, you can write that "third-party sources have reported that the town has been captured by Azerbaijan" or use similar wording to express it. Removing the Armenian name is problematic with regard to WP:NPOV. AntonSamuel (talk) 18:59, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
AntonSamuel the town is part of Azerbaijan. Before Armenian occupation population of the town is Azerbaijani. Why we have to use Armenian name of town? By the way other user revert all edits. Did you notice? How is still de-facto part of Artsakh?Drabdullayev17 (talk) 19:18, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've presented my argument with regard the Armenian names of the localities here: Talk:Zəngilan I'm keeping an eye on NK-related pages as they are currently the target of a lot of disruptive edits because of the conflict, both from pro-Azeri and pro-Armenian users. AntonSamuel (talk) 19:42, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
AntonSamuel you wrote your thoughts. So I want write what I think. Before Armenian occupation this settlements never called in Armenian. And some of changed by Artsakh government. It is illegal government and their renaming is also illegal. And the town we mentioned is de-facto is part of Azerbaijan now. Why you still keep the status as de-facto Artsakh? Drabdullayev17 (talk) 19:52, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
My arguments have focused on my opposition towards the removal of the Armenian names of the towns. On many articles anything connected to Armenia/Armenians, such as pictures of gravestones and churches has been removed as well - edits which I won't shy away from reverting. Regarding the infobox flags and the de facto/de jure status - if the conquest of the town can be confirmed by neutral sources, I'm a bit more ambivalent about that and so far I mostly haven't interfered in their removal/light infobox cleanups. AntonSamuel (talk) 19:59, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

AntonSamuel your arguments is not reliable source. For NPOV All encyclopedic content on Wikipedia must be written from a neutral point of view (NPOV), which means representing fairly, proportionately, and, as far as possible, without editorial bias, all the significant views that have been published by reliable sources on a topic. Your arguments are editorial bias. If you want neutral source I think TASS is enough. Now I have to revert your edits. You didn't write any source for your arguments. Drabdullayev17 (talk) 20:08, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The WP:ONUS to provide sufficently neutral and reliable sources is on editors wishing to include disputed content on Wikipedia pages. An admin protected the page for now because of the disruptive edits/edit warring, so any edits will have to wait. I do think it would be good if you familiarize yourself with Wikipedia:Core content policies a bit more. Remember to stay civil when dealing with your fellow editors and assume good faith. AntonSamuel (talk) 20:13, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Mincivan, Zangilan. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. AntonSamuel (talk) 10:16, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

AntonSamuel if it is captured by Azerbaijan how this town is de facto part of Artsakh? Can you explain please? --Drabdullayev17 (talk) 10:33, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Drabdullayev17 It was mainly your removal of the Armenian name as well as any mention of (potentially past) NKR/Artsakh control that I found problematic per our past discussion. Regarding the de facto status, this should be confirmed by third-party sources and not merely the statements of the Azeri government/Aliyev - however, I haven't interfered with that aspect of the edit to the infobox as I'm more ambivalent about it as I mentioned previously. AntonSamuel (talk) 10:36, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
AntonSamuel what you mean third-party source? I think TASS is reliable and third-party source. Is it not enough for you? --Drabdullayev17 (talk) 10:43, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The TASS source re-reports Aliyev's claim, it does not confirm it - so the statement should reflect that. AntonSamuel (talk) 10:45, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
