User talk:DrLovesWiki
A tag has been placed on Idlepimps, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain web site, blog, forum, or other community of web users that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and put a note on Talk:Idlepimps. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.Charles 04:47, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Idlepimps main.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Idlepimps main.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

The problem with the Idlepimps article is notability and verification. For a subject (in this case, a game) to have an article on Wikipedia, it must be sufficiently notable, and it also must be discussed by multiple reliable sources. If you have links/references from reliable sources to add to the article, please do so; otherwise, it will almost surely be deleted. -- Kicking222 19:34, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
(I tried to email this back to you, but for some reason, stupid AOL wasn't letting me send it. This is a simple copy and paste.)
Anytime. I've personally never heard of the game before, but there are a ton of games I've never heard of that are notable. My suggestion would be saving the article (including Wiki markup) to your computer, or to a subpage of your userpage (just create the page User:DrLovesWiki/Idlepimps or something like that). That way, if the article is deleted, you can recreate it.
Take care,
Mike/Kicking222

A tag has been placed on Idlepimps requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Korg (talk) 23:31, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
