Your DYK nomination of Ted Longshaw

Hi, the maximum allowed length of a DYK hook is 200 characters, but the one you supplied is 442. It will have to be edited or replaced with a shorter hook. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 02:50, 19 January 2015 (UTC)

Slotcar racing proposed split

Hi there, I see you have proposed a split to make information on the ISRA worlds a separate page. If this was to go ahead I would suggest having a rankings table of the top 20 racers as shown at isra-slot.com. I would also think a roundup of venues of previous world championships would be nice. A table with year, location and champions in each class would look good in this case. What do you think? Seasider91 (talk) 01:12, 26 January 2015 (UTC)

What I think is that the rankings table (instead of all racers) should be broken off into an seasonal article like those of other full-sized motorsport season pages which is what I am trying to model my articles I've been working on.
For the main page, aside solely listing the overall winners, you could talk about its history for example.
For the main WC page, I recommend in the format similar to the one what I've been working on (though it's not yet complete), though some of those on there are not likely to stay for long as I plan to split them off to its own page.
Thanks for the pointers Donnie. I shall get on it when I get the chance Seasider91 (talk) 19:50, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
