Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:Donblogerw requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. dont delete please Donblogerw (talk) 21:50, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It was deleted already. You've now recreated it, without changing anything, so it's probably going to be deleted again. Do you have a personal relationship with the subject you're writing about, by any chance? AntiDionysius (talk) 21:58, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
i change some promotional words there...please just help approve this and index it Donblogerw (talk) 22:07, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
please Donblogerw (talk) 22:07, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not the person who decides whether it's approved. Why do you want it indexed? AntiDionysius (talk) 22:13, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
im a real estate expert so i want it to be shown among my name on search is that possible please
or can you help and how can i get this done Donblogerw (talk) 22:37, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that's not what Wikipedia is for. AntiDionysius (talk) 22:38, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Donblogerw. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 21:55, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

i change them all is about me base on y experience please Donblogerw (talk) 22:09, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, if this is an article about yourself, then you have a conflict of interest, which you are required to declare. Please read the conflict of interest guideline and follow it. You are really, really not meant to write about yourself and it is very unlikely an article about yourself will ever be approved.
This is doubly true when you say it's based on your personal experience, since your personal experience does not count as a reliable source, because no one can verify that it's true. Wikipedia pages need to be based on reliable sources. AntiDionysius (talk) 22:16, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Page moves

[edit]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 23:57, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Donblogerw,
For some reason, you are moving pages around to inappropriate namespaces on the project which is resulting in their deletion. Please keep your article drafts in Draft space or User space like your Sandbox. If you want your draft reviewed, please submit them to WP:AFC, you can find instructions on the AFC page.
If you have questions about editing on Wikipedia or its policies, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 00:03, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Donblogerw/sandbox moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Donblogerw/sandbox. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Jonathan Deamer (talk) 19:41, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

hello jonathan what do i need to extract from the content to able to approve Donblogerw (talk) 05:20, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Donblogerw. It looks like you've already had some feedback about use of reliable sources that show notability at the now-renamed Draft:Jacky Chou. That's worth reading and understanding in detail. It might be the case that this topic doesn't qualify for an article on Wikipedia.
This may or may not apply, but please also be aware of Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline, especially regarding autobiographies, which this looks like it could be. Jonathan Deamer (talk) 11:22, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jacky Chou, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Hello, Donblogerw. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but a page you created  Jacky Chou has been deleted as meeting one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects of articles must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources which are unconnected with the subject and which provide verifiable information. Someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see WP:CORP for subjects that are groups or companies or organizations. Please see WP:ANYBIO for subjects who are people. Please see Wikipedia:Common sourcing mistakes (notability). Wikipedia:The Wikipedia Adventure is a useful tutorial.

Also, encyclopedia articles must be neutral in tone and not use language that promotes or advocates for a subject, or tries to cast the subject in a favorable light. Please see Information on content and common pitfalls to avoid here and here. Sometimes creators of promotional/advocational content are bewildered that it is considered such. If one has been trained to write such content, or if one has spent some time writing such content, one may simply be blind to non-neutral phrases or styles.

Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. A common assumption is that the prohibition against promotional editing applies only to businesses or organizations. It applies to any topic, including a person, a non-commercial organization, a point of view, etc. Persistent posters of promotional content may be blocked from editing Posters of promotional content with promotional usernames may be blocked on sight..

CV's/resumé's are by their nature promotional. Writing about oneself or any connected subject is discouraged as the connection can make objectivity difficult. Information on avoiding advocational content and common pitfalls is here and here, however be aware that these are not exhaustive.

New article creation can be difficult, but the Article Wizard can help you. "Before you start writing, gather a list of indisputably reliable sources that are entirely independent of the person, and that devote significant coverage to the person. Once you have that list of high quality sources, format them into references. Referencing for beginners explains how. Now, neutrally summarize what the sources say, avoiding any promotional language. You can find much more detailed advice at Your first article." --per Cullen328 The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems. You can also ask for help at the Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Help desk, and on IRC chat. Sometimes it is better to first gain experience by fixing and helping maintain existing articles. Wikipedia:Community portal/Opentask contains links to things that badly need doing, if you are so inclined.

This notice is information dense. Please carefully read and thoroughly understand the linked information before attempting further article creation.
