Your request concerning Mayorkun

Hi, Donald. I see Mbisanz hasn't responded to you, so I've taken a look at your new version of the article compared to the old one that was deleted in November 2016. Frankly, the older version is better written and more neutral and factual. In the new version, you have added promotional phrasing, such as "There he began his spotlight", "it sure came with a storm", "a feat no artiste have achieved", "proceeded to headline soldout gigs" — the whole tone is very promotional. The earlier version was well written, but was deleted because of notability concerns. It doesn't make any difference that one person commenting was a sock, because the nominator made a good case by himself and the sources failed the notability policy for music, please see WP:MUSICBIO. The only possibility that remains is that you might have added better sources. It doesn't look like it to me, but one or two of them are new, so to make sure, I've asked the original AfD nominator, who obviously understands the area of Nigerian music better than I do. I'll be back when I've heard from him. Meanwhile, I need to ask you if you have some connection with the subject of the article? It's apparently your only interest on Wikipedia. @Bishonen: Yeah, I understand everything you just said. First of all I have no connection with the subject article, The subject article is a Nigerian Celebrity Artist am not writing about my self because am not a celebrity or a singer. I love editing and writing, Actually I thought of creating Mayorkun but I found out that it was deleted few months ago. I also understand the promotional content writing and have understand that clearly. If the previous article which was deleted due to Notability, I believe it can be improved or expand with reliable source. I read about WP:GNG which is the most important key in all article on wikipedia. Mayorkun passes WP:GNG because he has been discussed and have been the subject (Coverage) in some realible source such as Newspaper and magazine. According to the AFD for Mayorkun the nominator said , he has not been discussed in reliable source and searches in (Google) only brought up his music downloads. That was when he just started music signed by Davido but now Mayorkun has been the talk of the day in most of the Newspaper in Nigeria and outside the country which makes him pass WP:GNG. As for WP:MUSICBIO Mayorkun has won and been Nominated for some Notable Awards which qualifies him to pass WP:MUSICBIO, He has been interviewed in some TV stations, his debut single "Eleko'" was among the music top charts in Nigeria which also have a measive airplay in all radio station in Nigeria, His first video "Eleko" was trending In all Music TV station such as Sound City. Mayorkun also went for a UK tour due to his music life Style, This makes the subject article to pass WP:GNG. I think the previous AFD nominator is from Nigeria so I believe he knows all this.
