According to UNESCO, English name of this incident is May 18th Democratic Uprising, not Gwangju Uprising.[1] Thanks. --Idh0854 (talk) 07:04, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
I see that, and I've changed the page's title to Gwangju Democratic Uprising as a compromise. The page contains details about the entire process, and not just the massacre that occurred initially. Thank you. Dodam.a.ih (talk) 19:27, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
Actually, I've decided to request a move (since this is a controversial issue in Korea from what I hear) to "Gwangju Uprising" based on Google Books results, as that is by far the most common term used in English.[1] Also, the memorial foundation created by the survivors use the term "Uprising".[2] Thanks, and have a nice day!
