[edit]Your comment as follows --
"Strong delete. Hopeless lack of sources. Google hits were entirely unreliable and useless. I don't think character will be notable even after the "book" is finished. Doctorfluffy (robe and wizard hat) 17:32, 31 July 2008 (UTC)"
This is just a personal attack. Who are YOU to decide what the "future" notability of ANYTHING is going to be? You are a TROLL with an administrator job!
It's one thing to cite "current notability" but who the hell are you to say what notability something will or will not have? (I think I ask a fair question.)
You're not a fair commentator.

Hey Fluffhead!!
[edit]How's it going? Smoke any bowls lately?
Hey, as the CREATOR of "Nyrva Dragonrhyne" I told Witaku both PUBLICALLY and PRIVATELY to leave you people alone and drop this whole issue.
Go ahead and delete the article! Won't be any skin off my back. I don't want MY character on one of the most unreliable websaites on the internet.
And Witaku is right- your comment about the future speculation of ANYBODY'S character is out of place, so don't sit there and cry about you being "attacked".
Comment on policy. Fine. So be it. And I really could care less. But I agree your comment was out of place. I really could care less about what anyone else says on here.
And uh... delete away, buddy!
Have a blast!
'Nuff said!!

Since you !voted in this AfD the author has added a reference to the Moving Picture Institute which helps to confirm that the film exists but to my mind does not help with notability because the MPI are not independent - they funded the film. I have added a longer comment to the AfD debate, and this note is to invite you to revisit it in case you wish to change your !vote. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 21:09, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
So, do you collect AfDs like Pokemon cards or what?
[edit]Just saying. It seems like an odd thing to keep such track of right on your userpage. - Norse Am Legend (talk) 01:50, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
- What's a "pokemon card"? Doctorfluffy (robe and wizard hat) 02:28, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
The AfD "hitlist" does seem like some sort of compensation for an inherent insecurity...kinda sad. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.165.196.84 (talk) 22:25, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Got a question
[edit]Can you shoot me an email sometime tonight or tomorrow? Thanks. If you have some philosophical opposition to email let me know here or on my talk page and I'll figure something out. Protonk (talk) 02:26, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- I made a new hotmail account. My email should already be on its way. Doctorfluffy (robe and wizard hat) 15:04, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Question
[edit]Hi there, I notice that you seem to be very familiar with the deletion policies around here (I found you after you nominated an article that made the Digg front page), and I'm wondering if this page for a band called This Is Me Smiling would qualify for deletion. It's just one of those random articles I came across one day and couldn't figure out why they have an article and I understand I can't nominate an article because I've never heard of it(I nominated the individual band member's articles and the result was Redirect), and it looks like only one person edits it anyway. Thank you. DonelleDer (talk) 04:04, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- Check out WP:MUSIC for the band specific notability guidelines. It's got a pretty straightforward list of criteria. If you don't think an article meets those standards then you could bring it up on the article's talk page and see what happens or go straight to articles for deletion. With regards to This Is Me Smiling, I'd say they are possibly barely notable, but I'm not sure. The article has some references, including a review (reviews are good sources), but the sites of the sources don't appear to be particularly reliable. A quick google search didn't yield much either - myspace, some sales listings, and a lot of lyrics websites. Their one album doesn't appear to have received much coverage. I personally don't think you'd be out of line to nominate it for deletion, but it's hard to tell with bands and people do sometimes pull solid sources out of nowhere. Go for it if you feel the encyclopedia would be improved without the article. It can't hurt to get the opinions of others. Doctorfluffy (robe and wizard hat) 17:51, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for the advice, I just nominated the article for deletion. DonelleDer (talk) 19:49, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
