No problem. I'll go ahead and restore it. With all of the real attempts at "vanity press" entries, a legit one sometimes gets clobbered. Thanks for letting me know. It'll be up in a moment. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 19:26, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
You bet. Thanks for understanding and good luck on the article! --PMDrive1061 (talk) 19:31, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

- Yeah, sorry about that, I just wanted to see what it looked like. I apologise, this is the only time I'll be vandalising.
- Was that the only purpose for the non-free image File:2d6urmc.jpg? I was going to tag it as WP:CSD#G3, but I thought I'd mention it to you first. BigNate37(T) 11:32, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yep. You can speedily delete it if you want. Djskein79 (talk) 12:16, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
THPS Soundtracks
[edit]Hi there. Unfortunately, it doesn't really matter what a fan of the game wants to see on the wikipedia page, or what the average user might find useful - if that were the case, walkthroughs and cheat codes would be on all game pages. As I've stated on one of the TH talk pages (I think), I've no problem with a soundtrack section being added, appropriately sourced, showing the tracks from the album with appropriate formatting. What isn't ok is simply adding a list of songs saying "these are the songs in the game". That's totally non-notable. Please read WP:NOT and WP:GAMECRUFT. Thanks! Fin©™ 16:58, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- Right... You should really go have a read of wikipedia's policies. Because people want it is not a reason to disregard policy. Thanks! Fin©™ 17:02, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not proclaiming ownership, I've just said I wouldn't have a problem with the soundtracks if they conform to policy. Ignoring rules does not apply in this case. Get over it is an essay, not a policy, but it applies more to anyone wanting to include a list of songs than it does people following policy. This isn't a point where an exception should be made, common sense is not to include an indiscriminate list of songs, as that is the standard used in game articles. I'm certainly not distrupting to make a point either, following policy does not classify as disrupting. Thanks! Fin©™ 18:39, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- And yeah, there's no problem including the soundtrack if it's formatted and sourced correctly - the Mario Galaxy music section is a good template to use. Thanks! Fin©™ 18:46, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
