Your recent Bold edit was Reverted. Per BRD, it's time for us to Discuss this on the talk page. Please don't edit war by reinstating the edit. Let's see if a consensus can form to keep it or an alternate version. This concerns the Oshun lead image. We can discuss this. If we do not reach agreement we can ask other editors to help. —Alalch E. 03:43, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Alalch, Well yes you clearly have removed the image as I can see right now . also the other image really does not represent a Goddess of Beauty and Love,.. it looks hideous. The Image of the wooden depiction could be at least at the Bottom of the Page and the Illustration can offer the Viewer a insight into to Spirit of the goddess Oxun that people worship . I find this depiction to be offensive and inaccurate. Dimitrios Pallis (talk) 03:48, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I have removed it after you had readded it, as I don't agree with adding this image. Let's settle on no lead image, which is indeed consistent with MOS:LEADIMAGE. BTW, I nominated your original artwork for deletion on Wikimedia Commons as I consider it to be out of scope on that project, as self-created artwork without obvious educational use. Here is the discussion: c:Commons:Deletion requests/File:Orisha Oxun.jpg. Sincerely—Alalch E. 03:54, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well if its deleted from Media Commons does it mean the Image will not be open source anymore ? What will happen to the Copyright of the Art I made ? The Purpose of creating it and sharing it was to give people a better depiction of Oshun who is said to be a beautiful Nigerian Goddess of Love, Beauty and Fertility. The Wooden Image can be at the bottom of the page but it does not represent the African Goddess People worship, there were no original Paintings for her like there are for other Religions so I made it for that purpose. And you are Bold for calling my self created Art mundane asking for it to be removed while you remove Images from several Articles leaving them looking sad and empty. You add nothing and you just delete Peoples contributions and I have seen it on other posts. Dimitrios Pallis (talk) 04:07, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't say the art is bad, I said that the depiction, as in what is shown in the image (the attributes of the subject of the image), is mundane, and can not be said to resemble a godess. To someone it might, and to someone else it might not at all, it's completely arbitrary and I don't see any cultural rootedness of this type of a depiction of this mythological being. It looks like a retouched photograph of a black woman. But I did not say that it's bad as that type of artwork. The articles look sad from my perspective when they're filled with images that do not meet the required standards for a serious encyclopedia.—Alalch E. 04:12, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How does the Image not resemble her? Her Deity Color's are said to be Yellow and Orange tones and she is said to be from beautiful Woman with roots from Nigeria, Africa, where this type of clothing and head scarfs are very common, her skin and the Art form is representative of a Oil painting that could represent Oshun. Why is this a Issue for you and I repeat myself the image is my Digital Art and not a Image from a black Woman that I took ( first it was Ai now this uff ) . I think it is sad that people can't stand it when there are black skinned Goddesses.. it is better to leave a wooden Picture that is so much less mundane and very representational of a dark skinned Goddess right ? The wooden picture can be a bit further down the line but it is not a representation of who people in the Yoruba religion and in spiritual circles worship. Images needed to be created because there were no actual Creative Commons Images of a Black Goddess called Oshun. You don`t see any rootedness, maybe look up what the goddess is supposed to look like.. anyway I believe you just delete things for the hell of it, very unpleasant and sad to see close minded people even on Wikipedia . I have replied on the article's talk page and requested a third opinion, because we have reached a standstill, considering also what was written on the other talk page. —Alalch E. 06:00, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
