A tag has been placed on Draft:Meritocratic Pay Equity, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - Hi Tomothytyy,
- This is an "original thought" article on a subject, which currently lacks from Wikipedia. There are plenty of references to "Meritocratic Pay Equity" that mention my name when you google the term. For example, Council for Inclusive Capitalism mentions Meritocratic Pay Equity here under Dimi Yar's profile: https://www.inclusivecapitalism.com/member/dimi-yar/
- and also here under the company page:
- Meritocratic Pay Equity is also mentioned in this article about Dimi Yar:
- Please let me know what else Wikipedia needs in order to capture the newly coined term and its explanation, and this way add value to society? DimiYarVOSACEO (talk) 02:57, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
- Sources 1 and 2: non-independent sources, published by highly subject-affiliated website. Source 3: Only a paragraph out of the whole text. We need SIGCOV. But I agree that I start to see new sources. Hopefully you can find independent, reliable sources that provide significant coverage soon! Timothytyy (talk) 01:54, 26 December 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Timothytyy. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Draft:Meritocratic Pay Equity have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Timothytyy (talk) 02:51, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
- Its not promotional. I coined a new term and wanted to make it public with explanation of what it means on Wikipedia. 108.54.165.235 (talk) 03:04, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
- That is not what Wikipedia is for. Rather, if a number of reliable and independent sources wrote a substantial amount about the concept, then, and only then, might a Wikipedia article about it be appropriate. Wikipedia is not the place to "get the word out"; if that's your objective, please consider a more appropriate venue such as a dedicated website for the concept and/or social media. - Perhaps Musk was right when he suggested renaming Wikipedia to Dickipedia. I used to rely on Wikipedia as a type of encyclopedia, but if its intended to barely follow what is trending on Tik-Tok, then good luck to all of you as Wikipedia is soon replaced by a mediocre AI bot, which will by the way know what "Meritocratic Pay Equity" is because I have written about it on the dedicated website and on LinkedIn and in presentations on YouTube, Google references me thoroughly, and so do multiple articles.
- Best Regards. DimiYarVOSACEO (talk) 16:41, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
- If you can find the "multiple articles" and bring them here (if they meet the requirements of GNG), we are more than welcome to see you create a new article. However, your text on the "dedicated website" and "Linkedln" is non-acceptable as a source on Wikipedia because they are not independent, same as Youtube; see WP:RS for more details. Also, all the sources you provided at the previous section doesn't seem to meet the requirements of GNG (explained above). As you have a COI with the subject matter, I suggest you try to find more third-party sources that detailedly describe the term. Moreover, you should write the article in a more neutral tone; see NPOV. I hope you would understand these issues, make improvements and submit the article again!
