Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Diegoroman2003 and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:08, 3 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft

[edit]

I moved your article back to your sandbox because it wasn't ready for mainspace yet. You currently have no inline citations, which makes it difficult for readers to verify factual statements in your article. Every statement should be followed by a supporting citation; if a group of sentences are all supported by the same source, you can place a single reference after all of them, but you need to have at least one reference per paragraph, and you shouldn't have any statements after the final reference in a paragraph. If you need a refresher on how to add citations, please consult this training module.

You also have an extremely long quote in the "Scholarly" section. Wikipedia quotes should only be used when the precise wording of the quote significantly improved a reader's understanding of the topic, and when you do use quotes, they need to be as short as possible. In most cases, anything outside the 5-8 word range is likely to be too much. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:03, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Maggie Rivas Rodriguez moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Maggie Rivas Rodriguez, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). In addition, everything needs to be footnoted. Please see WP:CIT on how to format footnotes and what needs to be included. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Maggie Rivas Rodriguez

[edit]

Hello, Diegoroman2003. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Maggie Rivas Rodriguez".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. plicit 12:17, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
