Your personal speculation about Eldon Hoke is the possible topic of an essay, but not a Wikipedia article. Have sources, present neutrally, eliminate your point of view, cease with speculation, please, before re-adding anything of that nature. KP Botany 21:29, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to Eldon Hoke

Please do not add unhelpful and unconstructive content to Wikipedia, as you did to Eldon Hoke. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. KP Botany 22:00, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Editor reverted own edit after reading edit summary at about same time I posted this notice, so I retract the notice. KP Botany 22:36, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Little context in Stone of terpon

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Stone of terpon, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Stone of terpon is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Stone of terpon, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 19:30, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Dick Kimball, I had some fun expanding that one. Τῷ δὲ καταστήσαντι Οὐικιπαιτᾶν χάριν ἀνταποδοίη. :-) Fut.Perf. 18:51, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, happy Friday. Nice additions to an article I've edited for a long time. I've been meaning to download the film from Internet archive but it takes a long time and I'm on dial-up. Even on DSL it takes and hour or two. Best -- Luigibob (talk) 15:29, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Jewel De'Nyle. Thank you. Morbidthoughts (talk) 21:09, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I responded to your concerns about the description of the Tony Award medallion on the talk page of the article; to sum up, the description was probably taken from a playbill article. I asked there, and will ask here, do you have suggested alternate language? Thanks, JeanColumbia (talk) 16:56, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Willemsbeth". The reason given for Willemsbeth's block is: "Spam / advertising-only account: All edits re. NN band".

Accept reason: Autoblock cleared. Reaper Eternal (talk) 13:15, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not the guy you want to block. My access goes through a common Internet gateway for Massachusetts state employees; there are probably thousands of us at this IP address. I have no idea who Williamsbeth is except that it's not I. Anyway, all I was trying to do was point out a needed gramatical correction in On this day...

...an estimated tens of thousands deaths across France.

should probably be ...an estimated tens of thousands OF deaths across France.

--Sumo broadcast== I don't know how I missed your comment on the talk page of Makuuchi late last year, but your comment is valid - it should be stated and not assumed that bilingual broadcast is in English. Thank you, I added in a clarification. FourTildes 20:42, 13 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Operation Mincemeat, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Double cross (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Would you mind tweaking your signature so that the font is not increased and there is no line break, per the guidelines at WP:SIG. Thanks, Stephen 00:46, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Your question on WP:ERRORS

[edit]

Hi, I have closed your query about today's featured article on the main page, as consensus is fairly settled that we do not put disambiguation terms in brackets on articles. A permanent link to the discussion is here. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 15:59, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Vindication, seven years later

[edit]

Hi, way back in 2010 you pointed out on the Juliette talk page that 'prequel' was not an accurate term for the novel and/or its relationship to Sade's other novel, Justine. For some reason, another editor responded to you with a churlish 'lolwut' and basically gave you a non-sequitur for an answer. I read Justine in university, and a bit of Juliette: the characters are sisters and the action over both novels is simultaneous, so yeah, they would not be prequels regardless of when they were published (sequel might apply, but certainly not prequel: more like companion pieces). Just to let you know I've fixed that page. As for the editor, he appears to have gone pretty inactive later that same year. ZarhanFastfire (talk) 01:14, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
