Downtown Dallas
[edit]I don't spend much time here on the Wikipedia at all, to be honest. I used to. I've only made .. 1 valid contribution in the past year.
So no, I don't see myself updating the maps any time soon.. I came on here to change some settings, however my current employment keeps me from being able to access the web a bunch.. maybe someday, again.
Feel free to do what you want. The images I made can be edited using GIMP, the GNU image editor...

Airport Railway Stations
[edit]Congrats on the well written articles you've been creating about future stations of the DART light rail network. However, I think you must have left the tag for airport railway stations in the United States on your template, because about twenty of them were tagged for that category. I left the tags on the articles for the future Love Field station and those that will serve DFW, but removed the rest. ThomasAndrewNimmo (talk) 14:51, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of DeGolyer Estate
[edit]A tag has been placed on DeGolyer Estate requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion nomination of Neiman Marcus Building
[edit]A tag has been placed on Neiman Marcus Building requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

You are now a Reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Karanacs (talk) 16:16, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

DYK for Trailblazer (monorail)
[edit]On 18 June 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Trailblazer (monorail), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the Trailblazer was the first commercially operated monorail system in the United States? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Disambiguation link notification for August 26
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Knights of Pythias Temple (Dallas, Texas), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Beaux Arts (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to The Crescent (Dallas) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "[]"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
- Burgee, The Crescent's neo-French classical design was meant to evoke historic architecture of [Galveston, Texas|Galveston) on a massive scale.<ref>http://www.dallasnews.com/business/commercial-real-estate/20110402-at-25-
