Due to pressing work concerns, I'm currently taking a wikibreak; I have no idea when I'll be able to contribute at full capacity again. Feel free to email me instead, since I'll only check my talk page every now and then.
With regards to Wikipedia, a few things you should know about me:
I try to accommodate. I'm sure every personality type is represented here, and surely some people just aren't going to get along. I try to practice common courtesy, with Zen being the popular word to describe it; "Go with the flow". However, even the deepest river has a limit to how much crap it can flow over and still remain calm. But I do my best.
I'm not perfect. If I've done something wrong or offended you, please let me know — I most likely didn't even realise what happened! I'm mostly a friendly chap. See WP:AGF and WP:BITE.
I try to evoke discussion. I strongly believe in healty, vigorous debate as well as WP:CITE, so additions without motivation can sometimes be viewed under increased scrutiny, especially when I'm on patrol for vandalism. Without proper references and citations, there are times when it can be difficult to tell between fact and targetted vandalism, and then one tends to err on the side of caution.
I tend towards inclusionism. There are no storage issues on Wikipedia, but I agree with WP:NOT and Wikipedia:Notability.
Thanks for uploading Image:Azapo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:47, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Signpost updated for November 17, 2008 and before.
Because the Signpost hasn't been sent in a while, to save space, I've condensed all seven issues that were not sent into this archive. Only the three issues from November are below.

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article George Weideman, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
BLP unsourced for more than 2 years.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Indeed, it has. I'm back to being semi-active on Wikipedia after a looooong hiatus, and I'd love to get an idea of how to better establish certain articles (in this case, with a single article that I believe deserves both retention and improvement). I'm using a fairly obscure subject for the page, but how can Towel_Boy_(wrestler) be improved? I can see several copy-editing issues, but I'd also like to see the article gets the citations it deserves. Many topics suffer from a lack of sourcing, and I feel now would be as good a time as any to help establish articles in the mainspace that may not have received sufficient attention in the past. Please let me know what areas need to be improved so I can get an idea of where to start, or refer me to someone who can take the time out to show me those particular ropes if you cannot. Thanks and cheers! Orethrius (talk) 22:55, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
You are invited to join WikiProject TRANSWIKI and join the sub language project of your choice. The aim is to draw up a full directory of missing articles from other wikipedias by language and build a team of translators to work at bridging the gaps in knowledge between other wikipedias. Lok forward to building an Afrikaans team with you when you return. Enjoy your break!Dr. BlofeldWhite cat17:12, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
