Demonte Morton
[edit]A tag has been placed on your article Demonte Morton, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Demonte Morton is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Demonte Morton. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. --Alex 17:52, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
I have restored the tag that you removed from Demonte Morton. Please do not remove this tag unless you can indicate why Demonte Morton is really notable. Otherwise, it will be considered vandalism. --Alex 18:10, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Deletions
[edit]Hey there. I didn't delete anything. I just saw that some article you started had been proposed fr deletion, and I thought you'd like to know. L.A. Timez is not deleted yet, and instructions for how to prevent its deletion are on the article. You could check the deletion log for the others to see who deleted them if you'd like them to explain it or possibly restore it. Click on the redlink and then click where it says "deletion log". It'll tell who deleted it and why. NickelShoe (Talk) 01:12, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

Notability of Bad Newz Travels Fast
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Bad Newz Travels Fast, by 198.103.221.52 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Bad Newz Travels Fast seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Bad Newz Travels Fast, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 00:08, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
DJ Pooh, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that DJ Pooh satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/DJ Pooh and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of DJ Pooh during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. WODUP 21:44, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Demonte Morton! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 236 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Tomica Wright - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Rasaq - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 19:47, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

The article Michael Evans (Good Times) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- This page one source which oddly links to the article itself. The character is not notable. Possibly merge into Good Times otherwise delete.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Wlmg (talk) 01:19, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
