User page
[edit]Sorry, but your user page does not conform to Wikipedia's user page guidelines. It is intended for basic information about yourself and your Wikimedia-related activities. Although a lot of freedom is allowed in personalizing your user page, it is not:
- an encyclopedia article (and should not be styled to look like one)
- a workspace for a draft article
- a personal website, blog, or social media site
- a space for self-promotion or other advertising
- a CV/resumé
- a lengthy autobiography
The user page guidelines have additional information on what is and what is not considered acceptable content. Thank you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 04:43, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
- Than you. I wanted to list my former company page. Consumers still ask what happed to the brand and I was trying to list some information on it’s activities and historic information. Should I list the company in a different way? Dean2812 (talk) 12:02, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
- Wikipedia includes only topics that are notable, so you must provide evidence that this company met Wikipedia's definition of a notable company. This means that it must have received significant coverage from multiple reliable and independent sources. Lacking this coverage means that it is unfortunately not worthy of inclusion; mere existence does not equal notability. In addition, since you were involved with this company, writing about it would be an inherent conflict of interest.
- The Articles for Creation process would be the recommended avenue here. You would create a draft article that could then be evaluated by involved editors. A successful review would mean your article is published, and an unsuccessful review would mean it is sent back to you with recommendations for improvement. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 13:56, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
