Ever and commas
[edit]Thanks for your edits on removing superfluous "evers" from context where it's apparent. I frequently do a similar thing with "also", they're both bad writing and make the encyclopedia read better by removing them. Some stuff, though, like removing a serial or Oxford comma is not necessary to remove as we don't have a rule one way or the other, only that individual articles be consistent. More at: WP:IFITAINTBROKE, but if you go looking for serial commas to remove, you might not take the whole sentence into account as not every comma before an "and" is strictly a serial comma and you may change the meaning of some sentences unintentionally. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
