Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart

[edit]

DavidRFLA, what I don't think you're understanding is that Wikipedia allows users to edit all articles. Your policy of "you stay on your side and I'll stay on mine" is not that of Wikipedia. I also don't think you understand that the article you are editing, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart, was once a functioning page true, but was redirected to a template a few months back. This was the same with all other depth chart articles (i.e. New England Patriots Depth Chart). Templates are much easier to implement into articles, such as Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Last week, a vote was held at WP:NFL to remove all depth charts from team pages and delete them, because of WP:NOR problems. This was a 7-0 consensus vote - there were no objections. All depth chart templates were removed from team pages - including Template:Tampa Bay Buccaneers depth chart. This means that you are one of a handful of people to even see Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart or Template:Tampa Bay Buccaneers depth chart anymore. The latter, in accordance with the vote, was nominated for deletion. Once these pages pass through the deletion process, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart is a redirect to a non-existent page (Template:Tampa Bay Buccaneers depth chart), and thus will be nominated for deletion as well at WP:RFD.

I understand that you enjoy editing the Buccaneers' depth chart. But I also want you to understand that Wikipedia has decided that depth chart templates use too much original research and thus cannot be used. Pats1 15:35, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello? Are you there? Can you please respond to my message instead of perpetually reverting edits? Keep in mind WP:3RR. Pats1 17:19, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, you may not want a depth chart, but others do. You keep redirecting the page, that is not your right. Please, just leave it alone if you dont like it. Yes everyone can edit pages, but thats not what your doing. Your redirecting it, and want it deleted. You redirect it to a page that is old and out of date, thats not constructive. Why do you care so much if I keep a page, and others enjoy it. Please just leave it alone. It has nothing to do with you or your group. If you want, I will recreate it from scratch, so you have no problem with it. Please, just leave it alone, your not being constructive. DavidRFLA 21:17, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Again, I have every much right to edit the page as you. Please do not tell me to "leave it alone." The page you are maintaining is in principle a duplicate of a page (template) that has been nominated for deletion. Also, what you are failing to understand is that the page you are maintaining was purposely redirected to the proper page (template) . The page you are editing should have been deleted when the templates were created as an alternative, but it was redirected instead. And as far as "wanting a depth chart" goes, WP:NFL has ruled that these depth charts violate WP:NOR and should be deleted. If you want to create a depth chart for the Buccaneers, you'll have to do it outside of Wikipedia. Pats1 21:41, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As far as deleting the page goes, we can either do it the easy way or the hard way. The easy way? You stop reverting the established redirect (you have been reported for WP:3RR), then Template:Tampa Bay Buccaneers depth chart passes deletion, then Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart gets nominated for deletion as a redirect to a non-existent page. The hard way? I let you edit away at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart and I will just nominate it for deletion at WP:AFD and cite the WP:NFL vote. Either way, whatever edits you want to make to it are a waste of time, as the vote has already been carried out without objection at WP:NFL. WP:NOR prevents any type of these depth charts to be made. I'm sorry. Pats1 21:44, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tell me, who made WP:NOR the god to decide who puts what on Winipedia. Take a walk. Your a typical commie from Mass. Why can you not just mind your own business. Is that impossible for a person of your makeup. If I want to put up a depth chart, who the heck are you or anyone else to tell me I can not do it. Get a life Nazi.

Before you come back, you would also do well to read WP:OWN, WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA. Heimstern Läufer (talk) 23:08, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Heimstern. I will be using different ip address to wipe out everything Pats1 and you put up. You want to vandalize my stuff, then fair game. War. All I wanted to do was to keep a page with the Bucs depth chart. It has nothing to do with you or your group. If this is the way Wikipeida is run, it wont be around for long.

Don't you have better things to do than troll my edit history, looking for people to back your cause? DavidRFLA decided to completely ignore a WP:NFL vote and break WP:3RR. I don't know why he applies to anything you're trying to do. Pats1 16:05, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
