The guidelines suggest images not larger than 100KB. Your bot has reduced the portrait from 110KB to 18KB which I feel is an excessive reduction. Paul venter (talk) 19:43, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
File tagging
Hi, the bot just tagged File talk:JOSS 1000x1000.png, but that file is hosted on Commons, not here. I was under the impression that files on commons should not have talk pages here, or am I mistaken? --Randykitty (talk) 05:42, 10 August 2018 (UTC)

DYK nomination of Spyridon Louis
Hello! Your submission of Spyridon Louis at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! BlueMoonset (talk) 15:45, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
- DatGuy, the article was tagged for having a problematic lead section, which usually puts a nomination on hold until the lead has been updated. While checking, I noticed that the phrasing in certain places in the article is identical to the olympics.com page on Louis, phrasing that it turns out has been in the article since it was created in June 2004. (It's hard to tell which way the copying might have gone, which is why I've pinged one of Wikipedia's experts in copyright.) I wanted to let you know that this was happening right away. Best of luck.
