Infobox film and its "starring" parameter
[edit]Hi. I saw that you added several names to the infobox at House of Wax (2005 film). Per the instructions on {{infobox film}}, the "starring" parameter in the infobox is sourced from the poster's billing block. If you think this should change, you should probably raise the issue at WT:FILM. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 22:44, 1 November 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Beetlejuice. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. The Old JacobiteThe '45 18:39, 30 May 2018 (UTC)

Everybody's Talking...
[edit]Please stop adding the SK tour to the infobox at Everybody's Talking About Jamie. Per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Musical_Theatre/Article_Structure: "The productions in the infobox should include the original production, the major productions in New York and/or London and U.S. or UK national tours." BOVINEBOY2008 21:16, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
I’m part of the Jamie Team and it is a separate production which can be listed. You have no right to remove them. Go on the page for Phantom of the Opera and look at the production list for that. Danniepye (talk) 22:38, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Phantom_of_the_Opera_(1986_musical)
You gonna take all them down that aren’t London/US or UK tours? Danniepye (talk) 22:40, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- Please see WP:COI. And don't point to errors in other articles to support your argument. This is the consensus of the project. The tour is still mentioned in the article, but the infobox is just devoted to these productions listed. BOVINEBOY2008 23:04, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Danniepye. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. BOVINEBOY2008 23:09, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
You didn’t answer my question though Danniepye (talk) 10:11, 27 June 2020 (UTC)

- IMDb is not a reliable source. DonIago (talk) 17:30, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) Hi Danniepye. Two things:
- Per Wikipedia:Verifiability, it's not enough for the information to be somewhere on the internet (or elsewhere). The source of the information needs to be cited in the Wikipedia article, preferably with an WP:inline citation. See Help:Referencing for beginners for how to add one.
- Wikipedia does not consider IMDb a WP:Reliable source. See WP:IMDb for details.
- So if you can find a reliable source supporting Sean Chapman's place of birth you can re-add it with an inline citation.
- Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 17:38, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
