Russian WikiProject Entomology

Do you want to draft the interview questions or would you like me to write questions that you'd translate? –Mabeenot (talk) 23:30, 8 January 2014 (UTC)

I'd prefer if you could start, and I'll chime in. -- Daniel Mietchen (talk) 23:42, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
I've drafted some interview questions. Feel free to add or tweak questions. We'll need to translate the questions and invite people to respond. I usually post invitations on the project's talk page, and then dig around the contributors listing in the project's page and talkpage histories to find some active editors that I can send invitations on their user talk pages. For an example of how we've conducted previous interviews like this, take a look at this one. Thanks! –Mabeenot (talk) 16:16, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
OK, made some copyedits and will think a bit about the questions. Please ping me again if I'm not responding quickly enough. I am familiar with the procedure through WikiProject Biophysics. -- Daniel Mietchen (talk) 21:45, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
Ping. :) –Mabeenot (talk) 17:16, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
Thanks - I pinged them. -- Daniel Mietchen (talk) 03:09, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Any news? I've pushed the article back a few weeks so we have more time. We could try another Russian WikiProject if this one isn't being responsive. –Mabeenot (talk) 03:38, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

OER inquiry

Hi Daniel Mietchen, I'm sending you this message because you're one of about 300 users who have recently edited an article in the umbrella category of open educational resources (OER) (or open education). In evaluating several projects we've been working on (e.g. the WIKISOO course and WikiProject Open), my colleague Pete Forsyth and I have wondered who chooses to edit OER-related articles and why. Regardless of whether you've taken the WIKISOO course yourself - and/or never even heard the term OER before - we'd be extremely grateful for your participation in this brief, anonymous survey before 27 April. No personal data is being collected. If you have any ideas or questions, please get in touch. My talk page awaits. Thanks for your support! - Sara FB (talk) 20:38, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
