Philadelphia Subdivision
It is not a template, because it would only be useful in one article. The box is put together directly in the article.--MrFishGo Fish 20:32, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- Your welcome, and thanks for the addition. Those are very informative, but very tedious to research and build.--MrFishGo Fish 20:54, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Lane Family Chaos.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Lane Family Chaos.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:07, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
NYC Meetup: You are invited!
New York City Meetup
|
In the afternoon, we will hold a session dedicated to meta:Wikimedia New York City activities, finalize and approve bylaws, interact with representatives from the Software Freedom Law Center, and hold salon-style group discussions on Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects (see the June meeting's minutes and the September meeting's minutes).
We'll also review our recent Wikis Take Manhattan event, and make preparations for our exciting successor Wikipedia Loves Art! bonanza, being planned with the Brooklyn Museum for February.
In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and (weather permitting) hold a late-night astronomy event at Columbia's telescopes.
You can add or remove your name from the New York City Meetups invite list at Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Invite list.
To keep up-to-date on local events, you can also join our mailing list.

Re: SEPTA Route 11
Probably, since as I see it the article is longer and has more content than a stub (which is why I assessed it as start-class). --TheCatalyst31 Reaction•Creation 22:58, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Commons Helper
Then I would suggest reading commons:User:Magnus_Manske/Commonshelper_interface/Help_en. --Admrboltz (talk) 16:47, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Workin' on the railroad
Gallery
I notice you changed some galleries into multiples with only two images in each gallery. This can be achieved in one gallery by using the perameter "perrow=2" so that there are only 2 images per row. See Pavonia-Newport (HBLR station). Differently for St. Catharines railway station the gallery has been replaced by a link to a Commons page.
VIA Rail style
A style file could be created, but it would require someone to update every VIA station infobox, and I don't currently have the time to do that. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 22:45, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- OK it's done. Just add "style = Via Rail". Let me know what you think. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 04:12, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Niagara Falls
The Image:Niagara Falls station.jpg that you added to Niagara Falls, New York (Amtrak station) is actually of Niagara Falls, Ontario railway station. Compare the infobox picture. Here is one of the NY station from Flickr. Good work adding station infoboxes. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 16:46, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- I will make a Commons page for NF Ontario railway station. I am going in there now. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 17:03, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Other station infobox thoughts
It seems to me that an entry for "line" is redundant if there is a succession box included under "services". This entry would only apply where that more extensive information is not available. A case of either/or, but not both. This can result in an extremely stretched box, like Union Station (Los Angeles), because of this pointless duplication. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 17:20, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Great Northern Depot
A google search turned this page up: [1]. Hope this helps. Eco84 | Talk 22:38, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
