Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Dalexander1, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Devon Alexander, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Dalexander1. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Devon Alexander, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. -KAP03 (Talk • Contributions • Email) 09:08, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Devon Alexander. Thank you. – 2.O.Boxing 09:33, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Devon Alexander. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.2.O.Boxing 09:33, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

what I wrote. But this is the real Devon Alexander and I haven’t put anything that’s not correct about myself on my own Wikipedia. I wanted my real and accurate info about my family information on my Wikipedia. I’m just baffled that’s someone tried to correct what the hell I wrote about my fucking family. I would appreciate it, if you don’t touch what I write about my wife and my kids. Can’t nobody add shit about my life but me.. There is a reason why I created my own account to make sure the correct information is on there. Dalexander1 (talk) 03:55, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate it if you don’t change shit about my dam family that my manager put on here. How the hell you gonna dispute some shit you don’t even know about weirdo. If Wikipedia is a place where editors think they can delete some shit that the actual person wrote, I’ll make to put a word out about this site. Dalexander1 (talk) 03:57, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies, but Wikipedia articles that are wp:biographies of living persons need to be wp:verifiable. Please see wp:citing sources. For the protection of Devon Alexander and given the fact that anyone could create an account with this username, we must remain cautious about what is added to this article. One's own knowledge is not verifiable (unless you are willing to supply your phone number and be available 24/7 ;o) See wp:no original research.
If you know of a source: news article, magazine article, TV show, etc., that would be sufficient. Please be aware that people's children are normally not listed unless they meet the wp:notability (people) requirement. e.g. they generally should have their own Wikipedia page. Otherwise, only the number of children are normally listed. Please see help:referencing for beginners. Thank you and my apologies for your troubles. Adakiko..I want my own story told by me and I want my family and wife included in my Wikipedia. My email is thechamp10056@yahoo.com. Or to prove that this is me, go to my instagram page @dalexander1 and inbox me that way you know you are talking to a verified person on IG and do the same for my Facebook which is verified. I don’t know anyone who would go through great length to impersonate like this. But message me on Instagram or to get this thing all cleared up. I want my real names if my real name of my kids published. I worked too hard for them not to be part of my story. Good day
