Welcome!

Hello, Dacho2, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Lauro Giotto, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! ttonyb1 (talk) 23:48, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Lauro Giotto requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb1 (talk) 23:48, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Mick Blue has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \btwitter\.com\b (links: http://twitter.com/mickbluexxx/). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Hello and welcome!

[edit]

Hello,

I noticed you seem to be having some trouble here, as most the articles you created have been deleted as non-notable. (A few survived as notable though.) Please read over WP:PORNBIO, as it will help you determine if a given porn star is notable (as defined by Wikipedia) or not.

You contributions are valued, but I don't want to see you wasting your time creating stuff that is bound to be deleted. If you need any further assistance, leave me a message on my talk page and I will be glad to help.

Have a nice day, ThaddeusB (talk) 04:24, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

UK/British vs. Scottish/Welsh/English

[edit]

Please do not change to the more generalized "British" from Scottish, Welsh, etc. It is more specific and clearer to the reader when the actual part of the UK is designated. Also, please do not insert flagicons into biography articles such as the musician ones. It is not an appropriate use of the icon. Wildhartlivie (talk) 21:31, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Changing Natonalities

[edit]

You appear to be spending a lot of time changing the nationalities of artists from both England and Scotland. Please be aware that most of these articles have settled on their present description simply because it is more accurate and specific. Most of your edits are also being immediately reverted by a variety of other editors. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 21:36, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Flag icons

[edit]

Please don't use flag icons to emphasize the nationality of persons or bands. It's against the recommendations of Wikipedia's manual of style. Favonian (talk) 21:43, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Frankmajor d frankmajor stars c.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:39, 5 September 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 01:39, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Frankmajor d frankmajor stars c.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Dacho2! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 716 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
