Proposed deletion of Aurel Braun

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Aurel Braun, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. our apologies

[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I need to apologize to you on behalf of wikipedia for the unjustified comments on the article. Yes, it does need references to show that it meets WP:PROF. I discussed the specifics on the article's talk page. But the career as given is almost certainly notable; even if there is COI we do not delete on that ground; and the standard for deletion is "unsourceable" not unsourced. Inline citations, by the way, are not necessary; any form of referencing is acceptable here. People are supposed to look for sources before placing deletion tags, but it nonetheless is basically your job and not theirs. (by the way, make sure the text you have is not taken from a web age or other pre-existing source--if any is, it must be totally rewritten to observe the original copyright.DGG (talk) 04:50, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Aurel Braun has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bwordpress\.com' (link(s): http://trentolson.wordpress.com/category/mcarthur-company/) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks!
