Bengali Wikipedia
[edit]Thank you for the Bengali Wikipedia message. I am already a Bengali Wikipedia editor: http://bn.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%A6%AC%E0%A7%8D%E0%A6%AF%E0%A6%AC%E0%A6%B9%E0%A6%BE%E0%A6%B0%E0%A6%95%E0%A6%BE%E0%A6%B0%E0%A7%80:Pinaki_ghosh , though I still haven't done much work for Bengali Wikipedia. I hope to start copntributing there soon. --Pinaki ghosh 08:20, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Smile!!!
[edit]Smile at others by adding {{subst:Smile}} to their talk page with a friendly message.
Well, what do I say now, I'd rather watch. For the while, editing looks stupid to me, may be I really understand Hinduism a little lesser. All, we Indians strongly believe is GOD is there. If you are right, you will be rewarded for your tireless work. BalanceΩrestored Talk 08:16, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
RE: Your edit on Tamil language

Thanks for reverting that part here. It is ridiculous how some people can exaggerate. Wiki Raja 04:42, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Jammu
[edit]Hi, the official language of Jammu and Kashmir is Urdu. Jammu is part of the state, so Urdu is official there as well as in the valley. See this link [1]. IP198 01:17, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Apologies for the late reply, but I have been busy with other commitments. I understand your point on Jammu, per Ladakh, and agree that Dogri should replace Hindi. What are your thoughts on the Kashmir pg? Do you think Kashmiri, Sanskrit, Hindi should stay their,or should we only have Urdu? If we include those languages we would also have to include Balti, Dogri, Mirpuri, Ladakhi, Tibetan, and Chinese. The Bengal region has only the Bengali script, even though Nepali, Urdu and Chittagonian are also spoken their. Also in the Punjab region pg Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu are official in some part of the region. IP198 16:29, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
[edit]Thanks for the barnstar. Bangalore is my next pit stop, once I run out of fuel on the others I am currently busy on :) -- ¿Amar៛Talk to me/My edits 14:07, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks!
[edit]Thanks, DaGizza, the barnstar was a great shot in the arm and much needed! I was inspired by your own comments in the (Some Queries) section, which were very eloquently expressed. Hopefully all this debate and angst will lead to something fruitful. Thanks again!! Fowler&fowler«Talk» 22:42, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
This article was deleted as a non-notable website. I could see that the page looked inadequate; however, it was already noted on the talk page that the article had survived a deletion debate before, which means the page does not qualify for a speedy deletion. Would you please examine the case again? Regards, PeaceNT 13:03, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reconsideration. I hope that means you don't mind my restoring the page. I'll try to improve it as suggested in the AfD. Best regards, PeaceNT 15:28, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Re:Small request
[edit]I'm sorry I completely forgot about your request, but here is my answer. Justices Gummow and Windeyer's school is Sydney Grammar, and this is verified by the Butterworths Australian Legal Dictionary (1997): see User:Enochlau/High Court Judges for more. enochlau (talk) 07:55, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Best wishes for your HSC. enochlau (talk) 14:08, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Why don't you go ahead and create the page? I'm thinking that it might be good to have a "sign-up sheet" of sorts on the main Talk:India page. The point of this would be to advertise the Sandbox and to gauge interest. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 12:23, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- <<<"Some sort of guidelines will be needed in order to the page to not turn into a mess."
- That's a very good point. Let me think about it. Thanks. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 12:55, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
RE: New Ad
[edit]- I'm pretty sure they have their own greetings. Other than that, apart from Tamil language being brought introduced to Southeast Asia, some of the Tamil Brahmin priests brought Sanskrit with them too. Regards. Wiki Raja 19:20, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Bounty
[edit]Alas, I will not extend the bounty on Hinduism again. Maybe later if I see a concrete drive towards reaching FA. However, I did put a bounty on Ganesha. Good luck! --Blacksun 12:17, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Thank you. I have revised some of the sections and standardized the references as suggested in the FA page. Please see.--Sankarrukku 15:00, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
I need your help. Please see my note in the talk page.Talk:Devi_Mahatmya I am having a tough time keeping on removing the linkages. Is there any way that this message can be made to appear whenever someone tries to edit the page?
May be I have to write a section about the three presiding Goddesses.
Thanks.

Ganesha temples
[edit]Added List of Ganapati temples link to the Ganesha article. The Ashtavinayak circuit is already covered in the article. There are other thousands of Ganesha temples; all of which can not be discussed. Again there are temples where Ganesha is not the prime diety; but has a small temple in the temple complex or a small shrine in the main temple dedicated to him.--Redtigerxyz 15:49, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- I read your comment on FAC page. The Ashtavinayak circuit is comparable to the Jyotirling circuit but the circuit is mostly popular in Maharashtra.--Redtigerxyz 12:27, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- Section "Worship in Temples" written.--Redtigerxyz 08:18, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Questionable user ...
[edit]Hello, DaGizza,
since you are an administrator, I have a question. By accident I stumbled over User:Essential Poland. S/he doesn't seem to be very active, but his/her userpage features some questional content, IMHO. Shouldn't that guy be blocked, because, well, I kinda feel by leaving him unblocked, it might encourage others ("Hey, they don't block us over at WP.") Maybe I'm just overreacting, but I thought I'd let you know. Best regards, --Plumcouch Talk2Me 22:47, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

- SACE starts today and goes for about two weeks I believe. I think the IB would be similar. Yeah, a family friend that I was helping has his physics tomorrow morning. Yeah, you should probably be studying, although when I was in year 12 I did spend a lot of time reading the newspaper about the 2001 election which was in the middle of the exams. Dear DaGizza,
I wonder why you undid my contributions on the page on the diplomatic relations of the Republic of China. They were totally correct. Probaly you think, i'm a vandaliser because I did a mistake why I was trying to undo some vandalism on the page of the 2007 Karachi Bombings and actualy restored the vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DeavenettelEng (talk • contribs) 13:17, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Re:Vietnamese Wikipedia and English Wikipedia.
[edit]Hi, I really loves Vietnamese Wikipedia because Vietnamese is my mother's tongue. Could anything better than use your own language, work with persons who could speak Vietnamese with you, understand your culture? I have contributed for Vietnamese Wikipedia for 7 month (1500+ edits (new account with a close friend's hepling hand: I write, she correct my error because her English skill greater than me) and 300+ edits (old account on my own)) and took part in a FA Article, some B-Class Article (according to quality standard of their English version + my own addtional texts), but now i'm totally disappointed in Vietnamese Wikipedians (there more than 10 reasons, but someone said I left because I think Vietnamese Wikipedia is mine :haha:; but I didn't explain anything, it's worthless to do). Beacase of that, I decided to leave Vietnamese Wikipedia, and went to English Wikipedia. I will return, but its time .... may be a far future.
Correct any errors in my text if you see, please :). -- Magnifier (talk) 21:06, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
Some of us are planning to reorganize the article Jainism, and perhaps some of the related articles.
Since you have made significant contributions to the article in the past, it would be great if you can give us some suggestions at the talk page Talk:Jainism. Thanks.

SINGH
[edit]I hope you can help in the SINGH article, I am trying not to let it become the platform for POVS and vandalism by one group of people. The name is a common name and used by so many different groups, it is unfair to say that it is only Sikh. It did originate from the Rajputs and today so many groups use it that the article should reflect a balanced position.
Thanks,
