Disambiguation link notification for August 13
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1999, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Driver. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:10, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
Santa Laurensia School moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Santa Laurensia School, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Donovanruddock2015.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Donovanruddock2015.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.thefightcity.com/razor-ruddock-visits-champions-club-de-boxe-montreal-shannon-briggs-wladimir-klitschko-comeback/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - You posted a question on my talk page. Normally I would answer there, but I am going to answer here so you can easily find some of the information links I provide. With respect to repeating a copyright violation, you potentially could be blocked from editing. It's okay to mistakes as a new editor, and you seem to be ready to learn from them. You aren't going to be blocked for this one copyright violation. Generally speaking, you cannot upload images you find on the internet unless they have been made available under a free license acceptable to Wikipedia. Most images you find on the Internet are copyrighted. Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright provides some more information about copyright. If you have more questions about images and copyright, Wikipedia:Media copyright questions is a good place to ask for help. And as a new editor, more general editing questions and help can be had at Wikipedia:Teahouse. I encourage you to use these resources and keep editing. Regards. -- Whpq (talk) 16:41, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
@Whpq I will try to learn from these information, thank you for taking your time to answer these questions, I really appreciate it. I hope to try and learn from these mistakes, and refrain from posting an image which violates the copyright from wikipedia, and post image that are available in commons to avoid these consequences until I learnt about the copyright systems in wikipedia. Page move
[edit]You created Wikipedia:Santa Laurensia School in a "namespace" reserved for adminstrative and other non-encyclopedic content that is useful to the entire project.
This page seems like it was either the beginnings of a draft article or a personal "to do" list so I moved it to User:DSbxgMMA/Santa Laurensia School.
As a general rule, early drafts and other pages that are only of interest to you should have a name that starts with User:yournamegoeshere/ which is User:DSbxgMMA/ for you. Drafts which you want others to help you with or which you want others to review should be created in or moved to a page whose name starts with Draft:. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 16:17, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
