New England Talk page
Hi, I'm from Wikipedia:WikiProject Connecticut. Just as an FYI, we've seen this guy a lot before... though his IP has now changed Talk:Stamford,_Connecticut. Markvs88 (talk) 12:34, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
Userbox edits
My apologies; I saw that WOSlink had made what appeared to be the most recent edit and I didn't see that your name preceeded him in creating the userbox. Melicans (talk, contributions) 19:29, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
Rollback misuse and edit-warring
I was thoroughly unimpressed with my examination of your recent edits on the U2 article. Rather than block you or issue a templated warning, I have protected the page for three days to give you a chance to discuss your proposed changes at Talk:U2. Please avail yourself of this opportunity if you remain interested in changing the article. If I see you (or anyone else) edit-warring at that article once protection lapses or is removed, I shall block you without further notice.
While reviewing your edits I also came across this, which is a clear misuse of your rollback privilege rather rude. Could you please be more careful; further misuse of this privilege will result in its removal, again without further warning. Best wishes, --John (talk) 04:09, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

Led Zeppelin part II
I noticed you reverted the recent change to the Led Zeppelin article. The article has been locked for a while and an extensive discussion has unfolded on the talk page. I suggest that you voice your concerns there. However, my reading of the talk page is that despite my personal opinion on what "heavy metal" is, there are overwhelming citations, including ones currently in the text of the article, which support the inclusion of this genre in the info box. I would be interested in seeing citations which dispute this.LedRush (talk) 17:30, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

- Sorry mate. ITN/C is frustrating sometimes. I know I should try to avoid it, but it's like a train wreck- I just can't look away. ~DC Let's Vent 16:40, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
- You get used to it- trust me, it's even less fun when you're an admin- but it would be appreciated if you'd keep calm. I like the new sig, btw. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 18:01, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. On another note, you've been doing a good job as admin (I've been semi-stalking you). You do a good job of keeping your personal feelings isolated from the actions you take, which is something any Wikipedian (especially an admin) should try to do. ~DC Let's Vent 18:08, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
- Cheers! That'll teach you for striking your support in my first RfA! ;) To be honest, the trick is just not to care. Whatever you do, it'll make someone unhappy- I was doomed to cries of admin abuse and pro-American bias when I posted Wooden, but I fully expected that when I posted it (and heaven forbid we should have a photo of him on the MP!). Are you one my (107 at last count) talk page stalkers? I've been trying to figure out which 107 people find me that interesting! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 18:12, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

Please do not question the sincerity of my posts without good reason. Kevin McE (talk) 19:16, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

- It was clearly presented as being a fear of what editors might argue in the future: how can there be evidence of such a thing? I see it as a real likelihood, and I believe that the front page of Wikipedia should be a paradigm of its values. Do you not? Kevin McE (talk) 06:04, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

I can't argue with that, but the article must be changed all in one go. To change it in dribs and drabs would look extremely sloppy, and I refuse to allow that as a matter of principle. – PeeJay 17:06, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Major League Baseball Truth
I've played baseball for 20 plus years. I umpired for 8 years. I know the game in and out and I love it. How can you seriously respect the sport when business tychoons ruin it? The Yankees consistently have the best team because they consistently have the highest salary. When the Orioles were dominant in the late 70s and 80s, they too had the highest salary as a team. Baseball is not competitive. It is biased. Do not tell me that I am demeaning the sport or acting in a destructive fashion to the sport's page. The league needs to be fixed and angry people like me are the ones that will ignore the sport they love because it is all lies. I will never surrender. I love baseball. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nupper84 (talk • contribs) 09:36, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
Dear sirs, Hi-how are you all doing? I hope great :O) Can you please accept my submission Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Gerald_Blaine. I believe this former Secret Service agent is very noteable (especially in comparison to the 20+ former agents already listed on Wikipedia).
