DYK for List of accolades received by True Grit (2010 film)
[edit]On 30 June 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article List of accolades received by True Grit (2010 film), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Hailee Steinfeld, who starred in the 2010 version of True Grit, is the 73rd performer nominated for an Academy Award in a screen debut? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Thank You for Your work on Seth Rogen, and, please, note one detail!
[edit]Hi!
Thank You, very much, for Your profound work on Seth Rogen!
You have inserted
<! --
when You loaded up Your work this morning, over the defaultsort template that is anyway invisible (without the blank space between the exclamation mark and the dashes, which I have inserted to avoid rendering invisible what I am writing right here), thus also rendering invisible the categories and the interwiki links to the article in other languages. I have already deleted those four tokens; the categories and the interwiki links have appeared, again. --Hans Dunkelberg (talk) 23:10, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
- Whoops! Thanks for correcting that =) Crystal Clear x3 05:16, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

You've written some great biographical articles (Daniel Radcliffe, Bryce Dallas Howard etc,) and I just wanted to recognize your great contributions. Keep up the good work! Ruby2010 comment! 03:46, 2 July 2011 (UTC) |

Re: question
[edit]This is a tough one, since there's no clear cut argument for which articles should/shouldn't be part of the GT, and there's no current ones I can use as an example. I think the topic as is looks fine, though I'm leaning towards keeping Danny Boyle out; if we add the director it opens a can of worms for the other actors, producers, etc. That being said, always better to add a few extra than to have too few articles ready to go. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 23:43, 3 July 2011 (UTC)
- I'm going too second Wizardman on keeping the director out. His addition would be out of place and would cause people to complain about other people who worked on the movie missing. So I hope your quest to make this a topic and have all the articles at GA/FA status goes well. GamerPro64 00:12, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

DYK for List of accolades received by the Spider-Man franchise
[edit]On 4 July 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article List of accolades received by the Spider-Man franchise, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that despite Spider-Man 2 being the most critically praised entry in the franchise, it is also the lowest grossing in the trilogy? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

This is it
[edit]Was there any discussion regarding the single/song status of the article? Just curious to see it as a song. — Legolas (talk2me) 06:12, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
- I think evidence supports that its a promotional single, ala Dance in the Dark etc. The infobox needs to be changed to reflect that, not single.
- I think they will indeed ask, and if I'm not mistaken, I read somewhere that it was that elder brother (Jermaine? hate him) who got hold of the tapes. — Legolas (talk2me) 06:51, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
The criticism "reads like a resume" refers to the section (Chart performance) in which it appears. It is uncharacteristically dry with no illustrations (I don't know, like "Spain with its long history of supporting Jackson, for example when he held his toddler son over the balcony"). Readers could simply refer to the charts at the bottom of the article. Please discuss before simply deleting the note, 'kay? --Aichikawa (talk) 22:11, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
Grammy Awards Task Force Update
[edit]<font=3>I'd like to offer an update of the Grammy Awards task force. The task force was established 3 months ago with 26 featured lists and 8 good articles. Since then, the project has increased the number of featured lists to 39 and good articles to 10, a major accomplishment for a small task force in such a short period of time! There are currently 2 Grammy-related lists at FLC (Latin Grammy Award for Song of the Year and Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance), so be sure to offer feedback/comments if possible. Also, a Sources page has been set up to provide reliable sources for future use--this tool will be very helpful for finding references quickly. Keep up the great work, task force members! --Another Believer (Talk) 15:46, 7 July 2011 (UTC) |
