Nationale Opsporingslijst
Hello Crispulop. I saw you added/corrected information at the 'Nationale Opsporingslijst' article. Thank you very much for that. I just have a question tho. I see you added 'Arrested in Germany' at Bao Zhuo Chen. Can i ask what is your source for this information? I searched a long time for information about Bao Zhuo Chen but found, except for the website of the Nationale Opsporingslijst and the televisionprogram Opsporing Verzocht, nothing about him. So i am very curious what is the source of that information. Also do you have a date of his arrest? That would complete the list. Thanks in advance. Greetings, Scarafax (talk) 11:51, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
EDIT: I just noticed that one change is a mistake. You changed the and total days of Sijahailatua. The days you entered are correct, however i made a mistake before about the off-date. Sajahailutua has been arrested on 9th of November, not 25th of October. So my fault. I corrected it. - Scarafax (talk) 12:04, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
Answer to Scarafax: Hello Scarafax. I enjoyed helping you out there as far as I was correct. I hope we can partner up and make the Nationale Opsporingslijst a good source of information for others. I see that you are the one that already made most of this page. Good job on that! I had the same problem with Bao Zhuo Chen as you have: a lack of information. I remembered from one of the episodes of Opsporing Verzocht that he was arrested in Germany so I first added that part. I had to rush away at one point so I had not added a source for his arrest yet. And I've still not be able to find a source. It look's like almost all information of his mere existence has vanished from the Internet. The only thing I can find about him is this article on RTL [1] So we might have to change his information in the list from two counts of manslaughter to two counts of attempted manslaughter or grave assault or something like that. But I have no more information about his arrest, so it's probably not verifiable, your choice to delete it or not. Should we add sources for every arrest? It's probably do-able but hard to find original sources in English. Anyway, it's hard to find good information about most people on the list. I seem to remember that Sharif was Egyptian and Chaudhry from Pakistan. But I can't find any sources for that either. Your YouTube source for Rida Bennajem doesn't work anymore by the way. Greetings, Crispulop

TemplateData is here
Hey Crispulop
I'm sending you this because you've made quite a few edits to the template namespace in the past couple of months. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :).
So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere.
What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default.
The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small JSON data structure, loaded through an extension called TemplateData. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'd be willing and able to put some time into adding TemplateData to high-profile templates. It's pretty easy to understand (heck, if I can write it, anyone can) and you can find a guide here, along with a list of prominent templates, although I suspect we can all hazard a guess as to high-profile templates that would benefit from this. Hopefully you're willing to give it a try; the more TemplateData sections get added, the better the interface can be. If you run into any problems, drop a note on the Feedback page.

Speedy Deletion.
Hey Crispulop. I grabbed Slaughterhouse from the Requested Articles page. I am fine if you want to delete the article, I just wanted to clear up that it wasn't my idea.
Midorr (talk) 18:08, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for picking up one of the ideas on the Requested Articles page. I asked for Slaughterhouse to be deleted because in the article you wrote I saw no indication of importance/notability. If I remember correctly, the article stated: Slaughterhouse is a band. It's members are:.. So there was nothing about notability in it. Have a look here if you would like more information on notability of bands. If you think Slaughterhouse is notable you are of course free to re-create the article. Just include the notability information in the article and everything is fine. I hoped I helped you out here. Crispulop (talk) 17:38, 10 August 2013 (UTC)
Thomson Whisky
You advised that this article nominated for AfD. Was it deleted instead of going through the process?
- Hello ..., I nominated the article for a Speedy Deletion, A7, no indication of importance, as the article did not make any assertion why it was important, let alone notable. And an administrator apparently agreed with me and deleted the article. Crispulop (talk) 10:34, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
- The only problem with that is that it did not give the NZ project a chance to review it, because of the speed the article was deleted. I recall having some concerns with the article as it appeared to be self-promotional, but it would have been useful to be able to confer with the wider NZ community first. NealeFamily (talk) 19:49, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
- I don't think I have to explain this to you because you seem to be an experienced editor, but I do so anyways because you don't seem to understand the point I'm trying to make: If an article is nominated for a speedy deletion an administrator reviews the request. In this case an administrator agreed that Thomson Whisky did not deserve a place on Wikipedia in it's current form because it lacked any form of significance (not to mention the self-promotion which you correctly mention), therefore he speedily deleted it. Because it lacked any significance whatsoever the article did not need to go to either a PROD or Afd procedure in which your community of NZ authors could have shown input. To me, you are coming across as feeling entitled to being heard because you are part of the WikiProject NZ, while CSD deletions are simply administrator business. Crispulop (talk) 20:27, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for your explanation. The reason I first queried you was because you had advised the author it was an AfD. As an aside, the issue I have with the speedy delete process is articles can be deleted by an administrator with no knowledge of the particular area. Allowing an AfD process for articles that are tagged with a project interest gives time for the projects members to consider if the article has merit. Surely this is something that is beneficial to the wider community. NealeFamily (talk) 00:53, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
- I suspect you a refering to the message posted here. I must inform you that the message you see there is a message automatically posted by nominating a page for Speedy deletion via Page Curation. It mentions speedy deletion twice (once in the title and once in the text). However, I agree with you that the message posted by Page Curation isn't as clear as the template that can be manually copied from any CSD template. Crispulop (talk) 11:01, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
- You are right - I must be going blind :) NealeFamily (talk) 19:49, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
B S Ajaikumar Page
Dear Crispulop
Dr. Ajaikumar is the founder and chairman of HCG Hospitals.

He truly deserves to have a wikipedia profile after having done so much for the society.
The content on this page is purely to create public awareness and visibility for a privately held cancer care network in South Asia. Its sole purpose is to reach out to cancer patients across the world and Wikipedia seemed like the best platform for the same.
HCG provides treatment at 20-30% of the cost incurred as compared to the Developed Countries. Being the largest cancer care network, it is of apt requirement to be a part of the Wiki world.
Harvard Business School has conducted a case-study on HCG Hospitals and thus placed the hospital on an intentional forum.
Along with 20-30% reduction, we also have a Foundation which works as an independent social arm to help patients avail free and subsidised treatment.
We hope that this justification suffices the requirement of HCG page on Wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smriti.Antony (talk • contribs) 14:50, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Smriti.Antony,
- B S Ajaikumar may be notable, however the page on him must be neutral and thus free of any promotion. The text on him may also not be copied from other websites. The current text was not neutral and copied from other websites, that is why I nominated it for a Speedy deletion. If you write the text in your own and neutral words an article on him might be acceptable. Crispulop (talk) 14:56, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

DYK
I was glad to help with the Dolfinarium :). Since you seem to be interested in international relations, you might want to consider checking my own DYK nomination: Geneva II. We seem to be at the odd moment of history where one Western parliament has rejected the use of bombs and another is being asked for "authorization", but the Western mainstream media/political class (even prominent anti-war commentary that I've seen) continue to say almost nothing about the third main alternative (first = "do nothing" = continue the weapons flow, second = bomb a little or bomb a lot), even though as the international system's closest thing to an NPOV representative on the issue, Lakhdar Brahimi, says, "all wars end with a political solution of some sort". Boud (talk) 08:27, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comments - I replaced some of the quotes. Boud (talk) 22:51, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
- I have a keen interest in International Relations and the Middle East, though for some reason I have never worked on any article related to it on Wikipedia yet. Your article seems like a nice start to change that. I mentioned your use of quotations because in university I was taught to be very careful with them and that they should be used sparsely or avoided altogether as they are not your own words and disrupt the text flow. I understand that in this article's case they can't be avoided, and I'm glad you managed to diminish some of them. I am very willing to pass your nomination as it is, but I'm afraid the hook is a bit dull at the moment. I suppose you are in favor of a political solution in Syria and thus not want to link your hook to the 2013 Ghouta attacks, but something like that might be able to spice it up a bit. If you would like to keep it as it is that is fine as well, just let me know and I'll give you the DYK tick.Crispulop (talk) 00:08, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
- My preferences for what should be done in Syria are irrelevant, from a Wikipedia POV. From a DYK POV, adding the Ghouta attacks for attracting readers+editors seems justified to me; from the Wikipedia POV, which is biased in favour of NPOV, I think it's also reasonable to include the Ghouta attacks as context. The only difficult thing is that the consensus title for the article does not yet say "chemical weapons", so adding that now could be considered either OR or overriding the present editorial consensus - I don't see any point waiting a week or so for a consensus title change for the Ghouta attacks article. Anyway, see ALT2. Boud (talk) 09:20, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

Secure Instant Messaging
Hi Crispulop. Found your recommendation on my article. While I do not necessarily disagree with a strict comparison of essay and article I want to see if I can further research the topic and shift more to the article classification. Part of the challenge is that there simply is no viable secure instant messengers for the average person and hence no comparison between good and poor designs with track histories to point to. At the same time I don't want to be a newspaper headline claiming to have invented some concept either. Therefore I will endeavor to find references for the statements I make that are from long study on the matter of cryptographically secure systems (as opposed to algorithm studies) and refrain from the geeky math that sometimes such systems are described with. Stassio (talk) 00:47, 18 September 2013 (UTC)Steve Tassio
- Hello Stassio, I think the subject of your article is valid. Secure Instant Messaging validates an article of it's own. I nominated the PROD (article's for Proposed deletion) because of the form it is written. I understand that you come from a research-background and this is the logical form to write in for you. I hope you are able to rewrite about your subject in a more "article-type-style". I also hope you found the link about writing essays in the PROD message, otherwise you can find it here.
- I have no knowledge of Secure Instant Messaging, however, I may have some first suggestions on ways on how to improve the article.
- The intro (which should be above the table of contents by the way). In it you should say something as: Secure Instant Messaging is .... It is related to Instant Messaging but differs from it because...
- You can't have sections named Conclusion and to a lesser extent Overview. I would suggest a sectioned head as: "Qualities of Secure Instant Messaging networks" or even "Qualities". Under which you can type a list of all the qualities that a Secure Instant Messaging network requires. If possible it is advisable to make this prose, rather than a list.
- Removing the in-text links to RFC 6120, 6121 and 6122. Maybe cite them as a reference. While typing this I found out that they automatically link, that's strange
If you are able to improve the article text I'll further gladly help you by giving it a more Wikipedia style look. If you have gotten any more questions don't hesitate to ask. Crispulop (talk) 09:06, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

List of agile project management tools
Hi Crispulop
You have rejected my submission http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/List_of_agile_project_management_tools by reason "Wikipedia is not a mere collection of external links or Internet directories." I understand that but I did the page exactly like similar page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_relational_database_management_systems that is already in the Wikipedia. So, what should I change in order to get the page approved?
And btw these kind of list pages are very useful for software architects etc.
Tratilai (talk) 07:33, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Tratilai, the main reason I rejected the article was that it consists of external links (so to other websites than Wikipedia) rather than internal links, which is the case in the article List of relational database management systems. Have a look at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Stand-alone lists for more information on how to write a list type and article and to see what is acceptable. Crispulop (talk) 12:39, 2 October 2013 (UTC)

Your comments on Nonprofits Insurance Alliance Group article
Hello Crispulop,
Thank for your review of my recently submitted article on the Nonprofits Insurance Alliance Group.
You commented that the opening paragraph "comes across as promotional." Also you stated that the tone should be more formal. I would appreciate if you could clarify both of those comments so I can improve the article. (Since writing it I have also obtained article citations.)
The statements given in the opening paragraph (see below) are factual; help me to understand why you view them as promotional. I was careful not to use any 'peacock' terms. Should I omit mentioning the independent rating by A.M. Best Company? Or put it in a different place?
"Nonprofits Insurance Alliance Group (NIA Group), based in Santa Cruz, CA and Barre, Vermont is a group of cooperative nonprofit insurance organizations which provide liability and property insurance for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in 31 states and DC. In the year ending 2012, the NIA Group insured 11,804 nonprofits nationwide, had a total equity of $163.1 million, with $331.3 million in assets, and was rated A VIII (Excellent) by A.M. Best Company. [2]"
Regarding a formal tone. Would you point to an example of a less than formal tone so I can correct it?
Thank you for taking the time to assist me. Researcher899 01:11, 6 October 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Researcher899 (talk • contribs)
- Hi Researcher899, I am ofcourse willing to help you out. Regarding the intro, it is quite good already. I would suggest cutting out the term: "501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations" througout the article and substituting it with just nonprofit organizations. In my opinion you may mention the credit rating by A.M. Best in the intro, you also provided a source for that information (the A.M. Best website), however the link you provide needs to be more direct. So it must directly link to a page which says that Nonprofit Insurance Alliance Group has such a rating. Confusingly, I also don't see the type of rating (A VIII) on the Wikipedia page on A. M. Best.
- For a true Wikipedia feel to the text you may also wish to add an infobox. You can find that here: Template:Infobox company. Instructions on how to use and add the infobox are on that page.
- At this point in my reaction I wished to adress the Mission section, but then I came across this: http://contentbysallywolfe.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/WIKIPEDIA-entry.pdf
- I already have an idea what is going on, but I prefer you explaining before I provide further comments. Crispulop (talk) 15:26, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

Nonprofits Insurance Alliance Group
Hi Crispulop, I do volunteer work for nonprofits in my community as well as paid content development work. I posted the WIKIPEDIA article in my portfolio to demonstrate the various styles I can write in. I should have indicated that the article was a submission--subject to Wikipedia's acceptance. I have removed it and replaced it with another file. http://contentbysallywolfe.com/work-type/nonprofit/
Thank you for your helpful suggestions. I have found the article which publishes AM Best's A rating which I will add to references, as well as add the Infobox.
Are you ok with me continuing to work on this? Thank you. Researcher899 16:55, 8 October 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Researcher899 (talk • contribs)
- I found the document by Googling random sections of the text you provided at Articles for creation. I looked at your site and found that you do paid content development work. You are ofcourse free to post whatever you want on your own site. Noting that you wrote this article as volunteer work, I still wish to point out that Wikipedia strongly discourages paid editing. Please read Wikipedia:COI closely.
- I am still willing to help you out on the article. If you implement the change as discussed we'll see what we can do from there. Please also provide more direct links for references numbers 5,7,8. I also suggest creating wikilinks (internal links) to relevant subjects in your text, such as A.M. Best. For the intro I would also add that the NIA Group is from the United States, since the Wikipedia audience is worldwide. Crispulop (talk) 22:18, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
submission question
You reviewed my submission on APSE: Association of People Supporting Employment First and it was denied due to it not being formal. I can understand removing the opening phrase "What is APSE?" But I am confused by anything else not being formal. In the initial overview paragraph as you state I did say a "select few", but in the main body I do identify these individuals. Everyone is first introduced by both their first and last names. If there are any other instances that you could help point out that do not follow the theme of Wikipedia I would appreciate the help. Thank you.Nholz (talk) 02:35, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
- I am ofcourse willing to help you out, but before I let you go through the trouble of improving your text please make sure that your subject is notable. For what is notable, please look at: Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). The main rule is: An organization is generally considered notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources.
- After I re-read your text I noticed that the great majority of your sources is "TheAdvance". I am not sure what that is. If it is the journal of the ASPSE then it does not count as a reliable, independent source. Other ASPE material and Wikipedia itself also don't count as reliable sources. So please, if you can, ensure that the ASPE is notable before going through the trouble of improving the text. Crispulop (talk) 14:07, 12 October 2013 (UTC)
After discussing things with others within the APSE organization, it has been decided that we would like to pursue a Wikipedia page similar to the one that was done for the TASH organization with a link to our about us page. This is until we can find outside resources that back up what I wrote using APSE's newsletter theAdvance as a reference. Actually I wrote the article using interviews that I conducted and then backed them up with theAdvance and other articles as references. So what does it take to get a Wikipedia page similar to TASH's completed? Can we take the overview/first paragraph that I wrote for the Wikipedia page and then have the link to our "about us" page? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.Nholz (talk) 17:37, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, Nholz. I understand that you are referring to this page: TASH (organization). Although that article seems neutral in tone it could still be up for deletion at any time because it is not adequatly supported by reliable sources that establish it's notability (it only has references to the TASH website). So, I am afraid that is not the way to go. Furthermore, I would like to point out the page Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, as your organization is trying to establish itself on Wikipedia, however noble its goals may be. Your interviews won't count as a reliable source either as they count as original research. Perhaps the most important piece of information I have to offer you is Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations, it tells you all about writing a page about your own company, and how it is in general discouraged. Changes to Nonprofits Insurance Alliance Group article per your suggestions/guidelines
Hi Crispulop, I have made the following changes to the Nonprofits Alliance article. I have not resubmitted it, pending your review and comments.
-You suggested I drop the "501(c)(3)" modifier, but I believe it's an important distinction that defines the group's operation and membership. However, I only use it in the first instance and I've added a wikilink to provide clarification. -A.M. Best reference. I was able to locate the listing on the AM Best site as well as the AMB number (011845) but I can't provide a direct link to the rating, as it is password protected. So I replaced it with a new reference, an article published at the time. -History section. I've added the following references to provide more direct verification (footnotes 5,7,8 which have now changed numerically): Charles Temper, “When will your insurance be cancelled?” Nonprofit Times, July 1989 James Mitchell, “Non-profits get a savior on insurance.” San Jose Mercury News, August 13, 2000 “Nonprofit organizations grapple with the vagaries of liability insurance.” Wall Street Journal, June 22, 1989. -Promotional tone. I have tried to eliminate all hints of promotional language, removing such words as "successful" and "actively." I wasn't sure about retaining the sentence about the group's slogan, so I inserted a question mark. -I added an Infobox.
I very much appreciate your help. Thank you for taking the time to work with me. Researcher899 18:45, 14 October 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Researcher899 (talk • contribs)

Primacy Management
Hi Crispulop,
Thank you for reviewing my new article about Primacy Management. I wasn't aware that using a description that I have sourced is copy infringement. However, I am determined to work on and complete this submission. Can you provide me any further advice or comments regarding my first article?
Thanks, — Preceding unsigned comment added by RobertBoag (talk • contribs) 17:40, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi RobertBoag, I see that you made a new Afc at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Primacy Management, and that it has been declined as the notability of the organisation or company is not yet established. If you follow the link that is provided in the declining message (you can also find it here), then you will read about what makes a company notable. Crispulop (talk) 19:50, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi Crispulop. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for H.M. Rawat, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion or proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Specifically, the statement "the only Nokia Concept Store in all of Sub-Saharan Africa" is a credible assertion of significance -- enough to avoid A7 deletion at any rate. If you feel the company isn't notable, please PROD it or nominate the article at AfD. Thanks! —Darkwind (talk) 08:19, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, that section was added after I put the article up for CSD A7. Crispulop (talk) 08:23, 1 October 2013 (UTC)

Traxpay Submission Rejected
Dear Crispulop,
Thanks for your careful review of my recent submission re: Traxpay. You mentioned that the reason for rejection was due to the article having copyrighted information in there. Can you tell me what it is that is raising the red flag? I have reread the article and do not see where there may be copyrighted material. Please advise and I will make the changes accordingly.
Thank you again for your careful review and feedback.
Best Regards, David — Preceding unsigned comment added by Davtrax (talk • contribs) 21:09, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Davtrax, this article has been deleted over three weeks ago. So I might not be able to remember correctly. From what I can see in the deletion log is that the page you created mirror this link closely: http://traxpay.com/about/traxpay-history/ So your page has been deleted because it created copied copyrighted content. Furthermore, the page has been deleted under Criteria for Speedy Deletion G11, which constitutes blantant advertising. I also see that your username is Davtrax, which makes me to guess that you are David Desharnais of Traxpay. I therefore wish to advise you to read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Reply
Afghanistan is my main area, I improved the article Afghan presidential election, 2014 and you should read the source [1] before re-adding names of people who were already disqualified and banned from running. Also, quoting partial text is not copyright infringement, unless the source explicitly states that no one can use any part of its text.--Fareed30 (talk) 21:41, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
- I'm afraid you're not getting the point I'm trying to make. I wish to say that just because the candidates have been disqualified that does not mean they should not be mentioned in the article. The article should show which candidates are currently still in the race, and the ones that have been disqualified, and it might even have to mention important people who were likely to enter the race but did not after all
- Your "partial text" definition of quotes compromises who blocks of texts and therefore does constitute a copyright violation. I cite from Wikipedia:Copyright violations: "However, copying material without the permission of the copyright holder from sources that are not public domain or compatibly licensed (unless it's a brief quotation used in accordance with Wikipedia's non-free content policy and guideline) is likely to be a copyright violation." 90% of the candidates section is currently directly copied from your source, it is thus a copyright violation. Crispulop (talk) 23:57, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
- The election campaign obviously didn't start with the 27 candidates but it will start now with the 10 candidates so it's completely useless to mix those names with those who are actually in the race, will just create confusion. Some of the disqualified people don't even have Wiki article. You may add a seperate section at the bottom and list the people who were disqualifed, that's if you really want but again it's useless information because they were legally disqualified.
- That 90% of text is the candidates place of birth, father's name, school's name, his job title, and etc. So don't worry about it but if it bothers you then I'll simply change the text around.--Fareed30 (talk) 00:23, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
DYK for Hazem Nuseibeh
On 1 November 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Hazem Nuseibeh, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that in 1965, Jordanian Foreign Minister Hazem Nuseibeh proposed a United Kingdom of Palestine and Jordan? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Hazem Nuseibeh. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Hi Crispulop, As it's been a couple weeks, I wanted to check in with you regarding the changes I posted in mid-October. I look forward to your review and comments.
Thank you, Researcher899 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Researcher899 (talk • contribs) 20:55, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
- You're absolutely right. I'm sorry, I forgot about it. Regarding your earlier comments/improvements which you posted on my talk page on 14 October. It is now clear for me that you want to include the 501(c)(3) text, that's ok, I improved the exact wikilink for you. I'll asume good faith on the A-excellent rating, if you are somehow capable of providing a more current (as 2005 is alread 8 years ago!)/better reference that would be greatly appreciated. I just found a link here: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/m-best-affirms-ratings-members-145400658.html Even though press releases are normally not considered to be authoritive info, this one will do to assert for the rating of NIA Group The history section is now very well referenced, good job. The same goes for the infobox, good job. I've removed the slogan as it does not contribute much to the article and it always comes of as promotional if a slogan is seen in the general text. I've made some further small edits. The main thing for you to improve is to provide some referencing for the sections Mission, Organizational structure, Current Operations. The section current operations looks more like an area of current operations to me at the moment, you might be able to improve that. Crispulop (talk) 23:04, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
Would you mind not digging up out of date submissions
The submission of mine you "rejected" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Growth_factor_receptor_inhibitor
had in fact previously been accepted to create the new page concerned some time ago.
So you by "rejecting" my previously successful submission just cluttered up my talk page with old, out of date info long since superceded. Please be more alert in future!
I'm deleting any edits you caused to my page and if it is appropriate to delete that project page I gave the link for then I will leave that up to others to do.
Peter Dow (talk) 01:06, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, I have no idea why you are reacting so annoyed, it's unnecessary and unhelpful. I looked into the history of the Afc which I declined and to the existing article, it looks like something went wrong when it was promoted to mainspace. The article you started in your userspace went to mainspace, and another article submission was created at Afc (which is the one I declined now). You got a message saying the article submission was declined as a courtesy. I did not expect that something had gone wrong in the past. Furthermore, you are ofcourse free to delete the declined Afc message on your talkpage. As well as the talkback template which I posted to show you this message. Crispulop (talk) 19:59, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
Nothing went wrong until you intervened. I drafted the article then I submitted it to Articles for creation and as you can see in the entry in my talk page left by FoCuSandLeArN my submission was accepted https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Peter_Dow#Your_submission_at_AfC_Growth_factor_receptor_inhibitor_was_accepted and accordingly the page was promoted to mainspace (perhaps with some minor tidying up by someone else) So that FoCuSandLeArN's note on my talk page was a source of pride for me, which you stomped on with your message directly afterwards contradicting it.
It's like your graduation photo on your mother's wall and someone came along and wrote "FRAUD" on it. Understand? On my talk page a reader might have thought you were calling me a liar because your message contradicted the previous one. That's why I am annoyed. You misinterpreted the history and then proceeded to go about things in a way sure to mislead others and offend me. Now, if we can please drop this. Peter Dow (talk) 22:53, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
- I'm afraid you're not understanding me. Your submission was and is good. That's why it was promoted to mainspace by FoCuSandLeArN. I'm saying that an error occurred when it was promoted to mainspace and that created a duplicate submission. As that submission was up for review because such a template was added to it means that it had to be reviewed. I noticed that the duplicate submission was the same as your previous submission which had been promoted to mainspace. So the outcome of the obligatory review was that it was a duplicate of an article in mainspace.
- You're making this as if I'm making this a personal attack on you, which it is absolutely not. I'm fixing a Wikipedia error here. Meanwhile you're using excessive terms against me and in general, which I reject. Saying "cluttered" for one post, "long since superceded" (two weeks you mean), Please be more alert in future!, "stomped on", "misinterpreted the history and then proceeded to go about things in a way sure to mislead others and offend me" Your reactions are way out proportion. It seems you are taking this all way too seriously. I've been simply fixing a Wikipedia error, which for you unfortunately for you showed up on your talk page. It would have been fine just to remove that one message from your talkpage rather then starting this conversation up in a negative way. Crispulop (talk) 23:26, 1 November 2013 (UTC)

Storno
Hello, You kindly reviewed my submission on Storno and rejected it due to lack of sources. The challenge is that I am describing an accounting concept not used by the English speaking/western accounting world. I have provided additional references to the German, Russian and Polish Wikipedia pages however none of them are particularly detailed (hence my creating this page). I am unclear what additional sources I can provide as even these in-country pages are very weak in references. If you are unable to approve m,y page for publication I would appreciate any advice you can offer how to proceed

Hi Crispulop you cited not "notable and worthy of inclusion" on /J.A._Pérez You also said: "Has he been awarded any major prizes for example?"
Is a person that speaks to crowds of over 50,000 people regularly notable? Are newspapers from latinamerica a good source? How about photos and press releases?

- Hi, newspapers from Latin America would be a good source yes. Photos and press releases on the other hand would not be a good source. See Wikipedia:Verifiability for further information. The link you provided would not serve as a neutral, reliable source as it is related to the author. Crispulop (talk) 09:59, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
Articles for creation - Bokos
Hello - I am curious why you declined my submission at this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Bokos on October 31. I attempted to use newspapers with circulations of over 200,000, and reliable sources both online and offline. Do you have advice on how I can improve the listing so that it meets your criteria? Thank you.
Amandaelfering (talk) 19:56, 7 November 2013 (UTC)Amandaelfering
- Hi Amandaelfering, I'm afraid the general tone of the article is the problem, it's advertising in tone. The whole article seems to scream: look at how great the sandals are! The sourcing however is good, notability is established, good job on that. Please see Wikipedia:Writing better articles#Information style and tone on how to improve the tone of the article. Notability Guidelines
Hello Crispulop,
Thank you for reviewing my article on Entalysis. I read the guidelines on notability before submission and I feel the references I chose satisfy these; I would be grateful if you could provide me with some additional guidance on this.
Your comments talk of the need for in-depth, neutral, independent sources, which I feel the article has. The references are:
- The Burton Mail – the regional newspaper for the town of Burton upon Trent and district, daily (paper copy) circulation 12,200 plus website. Article length 250 words.
- Logistics Manager – one of two pre-eminent UK logistics magazines, monthly (paper copy) circulation 11,700 plus website. Article length 1,270 words.
- AccredIT UK – part of the (UK Government) Department of Trade and Industry, responsible for IT standards and certification. Article length 680 words.
The references' article length would seem to satisfy the in-depth aspect (none of which is advertorial), and they are also neutral, independent and reputable publications.
I look forward to your assistance.
Best regards, --TedTheTurbot (talk) 16:29, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hi TedTheTurbot, maybe I have looked a bit too fast over your sources. They do seem credible, however the first one Burton Mail does not seem to be working (at least at the moment for me). I suggest you resubmit your article and someone else will look at it. It might however be wise to provide references for your second paragraph of the history section and for the product section. Good luck! Crispulop (talk) 09:59, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
