- Hi Ca!
- Thanks for your help reaching out to Well-informed optimist
- He pointed out that the assumption I made about the image he deleted was actually a tight formation of Thunderbird aircraft and not the crash site that I proposed was public domain.
- He didn’t reply to my message to him regarding this (and he deleted my reply which asked for temporary undeletion so I could determine if the formation image was also public domain.
- Since then I believe I have found the formation image that was deleted from the 1982 Indian Springs Thunderbird Diamond Crash wikipedia page that includes an image of a Diamond formation of Thunderbird, T 38 aircraft head on view that was featured in airshow brochures and on a large Grand Central Station interior Billboard in New York City, as a advertisement, both of which were Air Force products, and public domain, so I’m requesting undeletion of this image again with this information:
- Would you assist me with this?

- Hi, it seems like the deletion request was closed due to a misunderstanding. Other editors at Wikimedia Commons thought you were mistaken, having put up an undeletion request for the wrong image. I recommend continuing your dialogue with Commons:User talk:Jameslwoodward to sort this out.
- Also, can you tell me where Well-informed Optimist
deleted my reply which asked for temporary undeletion
? I don't see any interactions in contribution history with WIO. Ca talk to me! 23:53, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
