[edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 17:02, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

acknowledge that I am affiliated with the party/topic I was editing. I understand Wikipedia’s conflict-of-interest policies and will ensure that any future contributions are neutral, properly sourced, and meet Wikipedia's guidelines for verifiability and neutrality. I also commit to disclosing this COI on my user page as per Wikipedia’s guidelines. Creatives Garage (talk) 09:22, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You haven't proposed a new username as instructed, nor have you described what edits you intend to make now that you know you won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about Creatives Garage or its people. 331dot (talk) 21:03, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I acknowledge that my previous edits were seen as promotional and related to Creatives Garage. I fully understand the importance of neutrality and will no longer edit any topics related to Creatives Garage or its affiliates. I propose to edit articles in the arts and media sector (such as artist profiles, film reviews, and media history) while adhering to Wikipedia’s guidelines for neutrality and verifiability. Decline reason:

This is directly in the subject area covered by your conflict of interest. Yamla (talk) 19:48, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please place new posts at the bottom so they stay in order. This may be easier to do if you click "edit" and not "reply" to edit this page. The reply function is imperfect and does not work well in every situation. Someone else will review your request, but as you have strong ties to the art world (you wrote that your organization has empowered 14,000 creatives) you'll have to be more specific as to how your edits will comply with WP:COI. 331dot (talk) 14:25, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I recognize that my previous edits were flagged due to a perceived conflict of interest regarding Creatives Garage. I fully understand the need to maintain Wikipedia's standards of neutrality and transparency. I am committed to adhering to these guidelines going forward and will refrain from editing any topics directly or indirectly related to Creatives Garage or its affiliates. Instead, I seek to contribute to political and historical topics in East Africa, while strictly following Wikipedia’s guidelines.

Decline reason:

We do not consider chatbot generated requests. All but the last sentence produce a GPTZero score of 100%. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 07:09, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Tales of The Boondocks, can you give us some examples of the articles you'd like to edit, and explain a bit more about your conflict of interest? There's not a lot for us to go on, here. -- asilvering (talk) 02:32, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WHile I clearly missed declaring my Conflict of interest as per Wikipedia's guidelines while getting the draft page edit, my affiliation to the subject is professional, being their personal assistant, I hope to get unblocked so as to keep contributing to Wikipedia, Some of the article topics I wish to edit include those on activism in Est African Politics, ie The Kenya Finance Bill Protests, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenya_Finance_Bill_protests) , Human Rights in Uganda (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_in_Uganda), Constitution of Tanzania (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_of_Tanzania#:~:text=Permanent%20Constitution%20(1977%2Dpresent),-One%20month%20after&text=This%20Constitution%20essentially%20confirmed%20the,applied%20to%20the%20original%20Constitution.). Other than this, I wish to declare my conflict of interest while editing articles such as The Draft that I was editing before being blocked , Thayù: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Thay%C3%B9 ), following set guidelines on transparency, relevance and accuracy.
