Notable on-air staff lists

[edit]

Namely that, as with other "lists of notable people/things/whatever", only subjects which demonstrably meet the notability criteria should be included. Or, put bluntly, "no article, no listing". Mvcg66b3r (talk) 02:33, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article NewsNation Morning Show has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:TOOSOON - it hasn't happened yet and there isn't even a concrete date for when it's supposed to happen.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ... discospinster talk 02:45, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

NewsNation Morning Show moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, NewsNation Morning Show, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to NewsNation Prime. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 10:07, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Leland Vittert, you may be blocked from editing.
It was clearly explained, above, that you should not add links to draft articles, but you have continued doing so. Please stop - Arjayay (talk) 15:17, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Are any of the links at https://plus.cms.cnn.com/ working for you at the moment? None are for me (just time out). I realize the service goes live tomorrow, just wondering if we've jumped the gun a bit by posting them in advance. General Ization Talk 00:08, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(Actually, what I'm more worried about is that those are some kind of internal or staging links (CMS often being an acronym for content management system) and so may not work even after the service goes live.) General Ization Talk 01:17, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@General Ization Right, so do you want me to remove the links for the CNN+ programs? CowboyJBRich (talk) 01:23, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If it was me, I might hide them until we know for sure that they work, presumably some time tomorrow. But it's up to you. General Ization Talk 01:28, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@General Ization I will figure out a way later about the links for the CNN+ programs. No worries. CowboyJBRich (talk) 01:32, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I've signed up for CNN+ (which is now live) and the https://plus.cms.cnn.com/ links still don't work, so I think it was a good call to remove them. General Ization Talk 04:35, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The links within CNN+ take the form https://plus.cnn.com/plus/title-2227439 (which happens to be the link for Go There at 8 am ET). Cf. the link for Go There that was apparently in the press release https://plus.cms.cnn.com/plus/title-2227439 and it appears that my suspicion is confirmed that the cms subdomain referred to a staging or internal area of CNN's production system. I think if you were to restore the links found in the release omitting the cms subdomain they will work. General Ization Talk 04:46, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
