Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, CornutumProject. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Model-based testing, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

• avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
• propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
• disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
• avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
• do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

MrOllie(talk): I respect your concern about COI. But I believe my changes to the Model-based testing article are not a "conflict of interest" but rather an "expression of interest". Input space modeling is an important field in model-based testing, and I don't want to see it neglected in this article. Of course, I'm aware of this because I'm a practitioner, but others deserve to know about this field, too. My contributions are neutral, unopinionated, and verifiable from multiple reliable sources. In addition to a tool that I've created, I cite several others. You should also know that my Tcases tool is an open-source hobby project, and as a retired software engineer, I derive no financial benefit from it.

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
• Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.

To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page.
