Be bold to move
[edit]Hi, CopperyMarrow15! I saw you listed a move request to an unused (red-colored) title. As you've been registered here for over 6 months now, you could move such pages in the future to avoid waiting for days and weeks to generate community opinions an/or takes on it/them. Only list requests when your preferred target title(s) for the moves are hyperlinked or blue in color (in that case, use WP:RMTR). In short, be bold when you have to and take community scrutiny and advice on the chin as you move around here on WP! Happy editing! Intrisit (talk) 06:08, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
- I see. Thank you, Intrisit! Just when I think I know all the relevant policies, there's always something else. Would I be able to rename the article now that I've listed it? Or must I wait for consensus? –CopperyMarrow15 (talk | edits) Feel free to ping me! 18:38, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry for replying to you a bit later than usual, as my head spins anytime when I'm here on WP! Let me use my over 13-month-old WP experience with these renamings and moves as examples. As I'm writing to you now, I'm embroiled in page renaming battles on numerous talk pages, half of which you can judge for yourself through my contributions. Renaming a page or pages here on WP is called "page moving/moving pages/a page". As you stated on reviewing every iota of WP policy/guideline, the co-founder of WP once put out a statement; ignore all rules; one component of which made up that is what I already stated to you, that unless the preferred titles are blue or already taken, if such titles are instead red-linked or their link are red (signifying them as currently non-existent/unavailable), move (rename) them. If they get undone or reverted, list them at RMTR. That is where the consensus part comes in where you then show off to justify why the titles you picked should be changed. Remember to only look/wait for consensus when your page moves are contested/doubted and are in discussion once listed from you at RMTR.
- Think of the policies as guides to avoid yourself getting blocked from WP than having yourself backed at a "boxing corner" of timidity, hence the "ignore all rules" statement. Sources via websites and books/prints and neutrality are what rules here on WP than baseless arguments by others. When they arrive, state your stance, rules or no rules (hence, "Be Bold!") on why it should be so through such sourcing and you're good to go! Happy editing!! Sorry for misunderstanding you at RfD

- All good!
- Did you know that Harry Truman's middle name was S? It wasn't an abbreviation for anything; just S.[1] [2] This is my talk page! I get to say as many fun facts as I want! –CopperyMarrow15 (talk | edits) Feel free to ping me! 21:44, 8 September 2023 (UTC)

Your edit
[edit]Hello, I'm Nononsense101. I found that you reverted an edit on Among Us and called it vandalism. It looks perfectly good faith, and therefore is not vandalism, so why did you use the user warning template you did? Nononsense101 (talk) 20:23, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
- Nononsense101, You are correct in that I have failed to assume good faith. Thanks for calling me out. I had immediately assumed that someone calling a meme "cringe" would simply be trying to crack a joke and be disruptive, but after thinking about it I understand how it might be possible for someone to do so in good faith. To be fair, the level-one vandalism warning template does say "your recent contributions [...] did not appear constructive", which is true to this situation; they did not appear constructive to me, even though I was possibly mistaken and thus maybe should have used a different template. Sorry, Amoguslol! –CopperyMarrow15 (talk | edits) Feel free to ping me! 23:05, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
