Hello C. Thanks for wanting to edit at Wikipedia. Please be aware that your current edits are a problem. While a series like Yes, Minister is styled in italics - Yes, Minister - single episodes in a series use quote marks around the title - "Job for the Boys" for example. If you would please stop putting italics on episode titles that would be appreciated. If you would go back and fix the ones you have changed that would be even more appreciated. Your cooperation in this will be a help to the project. MarnetteD|Talk23:14, 1 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OK. Right now, time doesn't permit, I have to get moving. I will not continue onward in that fashion, and if nobody has touched those that I have started, I will begin undoing as soon as I am back tomorrow (Thursday). Cheers. --Coolshots (talk) 23:20, 1 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You sure about this?[1] I was clearly following a "multi-episode" format. That's screwed me completely. The last two days I have been italising every comedy I know. I did all of Only Fools, start to finish. Must I now undo? --Coolshots (talk) 23:12, 1 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have moved your post on my talk page here so that it can all be in one place. I know it is a bit confusing. A multi episode story like the four part Meglos of the Doctor Who series does get italics. But all of the Yes, Minister and Only Fools Have Horses episodes are stand alone single story episodes and thus get quote marks. One way that you can tell is to look at the title in the infobox. Here The Jolly Boys' Outing you will see quotes and here Meglos you will see the title in italics. Another place to look is at the title of the article. Single episodes will be in straight letters while multi episode stories will also be italicized. In answer to your question - yes I am afraid that you need to undo most of the edits that you have made to various titles at the beginning of the lede sections. Remember as you continue to learn how to edit you can always ask question at the WP:HELPDESK or at the WP:TEAHOUSE. Cheers. MarnetteD|Talk23:27, 1 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
