Citations in the lead

[edit]

Thanks for your edit, but citations just need to be in the body of the article. We generally try to leave the lead uncluttered. See WP:LEAD. Doug Weller talk 13:38, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Samuel Goldwyn Theater, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Screening (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:37, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Just to get explain. Redlinks are not "broken", but articles not yet written, so we do not remove the [[ ]] unless there is no possibility that an article would be written on that topic. The presence of redlinks triggers people to write articles so it's desirable to leave them in place. See WP:REDLINK for more details. Kerry (talk) 02:44, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
