Tone and style

[edit]

Hello, ConstantinVacheron. I reverted your edits to Archaeology, as they were not encyclopedic in tone or style; editors should not use "we" in articles. What you added also reads like an extract from an undergraduate-level University guidebook; its source seems to have been self-published, and not peer-reviewed. Please read the links given above, and try to get a "feel" for what's acceptable in Wikipedia articles, both in terms of text and sources. The source you used does not seem notable enough in authorship to serve as a reliable source for Wikipedia, per this discussion. Please don't hesitate to ask questions if in doubt. You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mkd07. Your editing pattern, and particularly the source you cited in Archaeology, suggests that this account might be one of several sockpuppet accounts of User:Mkd07, whose known sockpuppet accounts have been blocked. Is this in fact the case? Haploidavey (talk) 00:16, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
