Kristy's Edits

Hi Angelica! Your page is really well done and I could find no major problems that needed editing. One suggestion however is to maybe add some information about the tanager's diet? I don't know if this is important or relevant but could be interesting to add. Kacap2015 (talk) 15:33, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Multicoloured tanager

[edit]

Nice work on the Multicoloured tanager article. I wonder if you would like to consider submitting it as a candidate for the "Did you know...?" feature. DYKs (as they are commonly called) are short snippets taken from Wikipedia's newest articles and, if approved, appear on the Main Page. Although not a new article, your work qualified as a 5-fold expansion of the article. You can learn more about this by clicking on the image to the right to access a nice pdf outlining the process.

If you're interested in submitting this article to DYK, please note that you only have a week to submit it from the date the article expansion began (which was March 23 in this case). Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:45, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Conbio336: It's great to see a new bird editor at work! Just a note: following a very heated exchange between bird editors and manual of style editors (which we bird editors lost) we are now required to use lower case for all bird names — that's why I changed the capitalization in your recently updated multicoloured tanager article. If you're going to be around for a bit, please consider joining us at WP:BIRD, the English wikipedia's bird project. We're always looking for new members! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Multicoloured tanager, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Risaralda. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
