Wuhan outbreak
[edit]Please see my comments at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Timeline_of_the_2019%E2%80%9320_Wuhan_coronavirus_outbreak#We_should_remove_the_table Also I think by "charts" you meant "table" I edited your comment in the Talk page accordingly. Mbevand (talk) 18:21, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
Please edit more carefully; this is a critical article & timeline, and you removed a (non-)duplicate edit incorrectly. --2600:1700:80:5AD0:9029:CD06:1497:72BA (talk) 19:14, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
Self-reverted; I see the dupe now. Spelled out "US" as a minor 'fix.' Mea culpa. --2600:1700:80:5AD0:9029:CD06:1497:72BA (talk) 19:18, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
The main page for updates on Mainland China is linked to this page, so my edit belongs there. Thanks Nebakin (talk) 15:32, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
FYI, my spreadsheet model projects:
Day Date Infections reported in China 44 1/29/20 8,356 45 1/30/20 11,364
73 2/27/20 1,097,520
90 3/15/20 4,407,024
The model curve fitted to the reported 13 days of data resulted. I assumed that Jan. 16, 2020 was the 31st day of the infection.
x = Day y = 0.392x4 - 50.301x3 + 2418x2 - 51547x + 410763 R² = 0.9973. [fit of equation to dot plot data for x = Days 31 to 43.
- wrong place to write this**: but why TF did you remove the table from the Wuhan outbreak timeline page? That's valuable information — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.226.62.169 (talk) 16:49, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- See the talk page on the article but I removed it because they were massive, not very easy to read, and were an eyesore. If you want we can hold a vote to determine community consensus about this. --Colin dm (talk) 16:52, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
You may have accidentally undo'ed my revision due to a misunderstanding. NHK has posted that Japan had just got their 8th case on 29th January and was related to one of the cases on the day before. Please check. Thank you CounterBot1 (talk) 17:16, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- Oh I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding and thanks for letting me know.--Colin dm (talk) 17:22, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- That is okay. You could add it in and improve the sentence when you edit the article next. --CounterBot1 (talk) 17:25, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- I've added it back.--Colin dm (talk) 17:29, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

Just wanted to take a moment to say "thanks" for all your efforts here. Much appreciated. --67.48.200.162 (talk) 17:26, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
- 😄Thank you
Wuhan news source
[edit]Isn't CNA the default name? Cause honestly, the people at Mediacorp don't call themselves Channel NewsAsia since March 2019. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 02:33, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry I didn't know that. I just checked the wiki and it's refered to as CNA. Sorry for any confusion I caused.--Colin dm (talk) 02:38, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Cheyanna’s Champions for Children
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Cheyanna’s Champions for Children, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. DGG ( talk ) 14:15, 9 September 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Your recent edit to Lake Travis High School appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you.
