[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Buddhist Ladies' College has been reverted.
Your edit here to Buddhist Ladies' College was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73u-yPAlI-Y) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Simultaneous edits to Gina R. Poe
[edit]So apparently we were both editing Gina R. Poe at the same time. I don't think there were any editing collisions, but you might want to check. I will hold off on editing this article for a while, but perhaps if we are both going to be doing a lot of edits we should coordinate through the article's talk page.
My feeling is that our combined efforts will be sufficient to justify the removal of the copy edit template. There are still some problems with the references, however. Johnnie Bob (talk) 21:53, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
Hi. Thanks for the note. There are a ton of issues with this page including a number of self-promotional citations. I'd like to continue editing it from time to time if that's ok with you. ColdDeepLake (talk) 22:09, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
That is fine with me I will leave it alone for a while. Johnnie Bob (talk) 22:46, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hi ColdDeepLake! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Gina R. Poe that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Copy edit on Gina R. Poe
[edit]Hey ColdDeepLake,
Thanks for removing the Select media section on Gina R. Poe; I think that was a good idea. I was wondering if you could be more specific about what needs to be copy-edited further in the article. (Please ping me in replies.) Cheers, Ovinus (talk) 04:58, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
- Also, I don't get the resume tag - this article reads like every other article about a scientist. Can you detail what you believe represents a resume, or, even better, edit it? Thanks. JSFarman (talk) 19:48, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
- JSFarman My chief concern at the time I made those edits was the lack of WP:RS in the section on "Career and Research" that were not directly sourced from UCLA. Much of the material relied on the subject's biography. Other material was not cited at all. I agree that many other articles about scientists are similar to this one and I believe they should all more closely aim to comply with WP:NACADEMIC ColdDeepLake (talk) 17:48, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hi ColdDeepLake. Totally agree on compliance related to notability for academics. Thank you for the response. JSFarman (talk) 22:10, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
