Orphaned non-free media (Image:Problem Loading page (Firefox).JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Problem Loading page (Firefox).JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:52, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Eve Dallas non-vandalism
I just noticed that you reverted some edits I did on October 6 to the Eve Dallas page from this IP address. You even sent a vandalism warning to my IP address's talk page, but then reverted that a minute later, so I had no notification that my edits had been removed. I'm perfectly willing to believe you were acting in good faith, but what on Earth about these edits made you think they were vandalism in the first place. They were just normal copyediting, cleaning up the English usage and inserting proper dashes.
Fortunately, none of the later edits by other people have affected the same content, so I was able to use the Undo link to revert your reversion.
(Note: this IP address is not the only one I use, and I am not the only one using it. It might be best to respond here rather than on my talk page. I'll check back in a few days.)

- Apology accepted, but when I asked "what made you think they were vandalism", I actually wanted to know. --207.176.159.90 23:36, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for answering. I have blanked the talk page since it is shared. --207.176.159.90 23:52, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I get it now. The tool searches for secks-related keywords in passages that have been edited, but doesn't test whether they were added by the edit or, as in this case, were already there. Hence the false alarm. (Don't bother answering this, please.) --207.176.159.90 07:13, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia:WikiProject Red Link Recovery
Hi. I noticed your contribution to the WikiProject Red Link Recovery. It's very nice more people are helping there. Just keep in mind that when the red link doesn't exist to the article shown then you just have to remove the entry from the file even if the suggestion was not correct. We need the exceptional cases in order to exclude them the next time the project runs. Keep up the good work! Friendly, Magioladitis 19:53, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

My (Remember the dot)'s RfA
I never thanked you for participating in my RfA a couple of weeks ago. Thank you for your support, though unfortunately the request was closed as "no consensus". I plan to run again at a later time, and I hope you will support me again then.
Thanks again! —Remember the dot (talk) 06:39, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Salem witch trials task force?
So what is happening with this Task Force? I seem to be the only one actively doing anything with the main article. I guess maybe there really isn't that much interest...? Could you take a look at what I've been doing and give me some feedback? Cheers, Ogram (talk) 23:08, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Francis Griffin
An editor has nominated Francis Griffin, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Francis Griffin and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 18:44, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

In the morning, there are exciting plans for a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the American Museum of Natural History.
In the afternoon, we will hold a session dedicated to discussing meta:Wikimedia New York City issues (see the last meeting's minutes).
In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and (weather permitting) hold a late-night astronomy event at Columbia's telescopes.
You can add or remove your name from the New York City Meetups invite list at Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Invite list.
