[edit]Hello, I'm DVdm. Your recent edit(s) to the page Space travel using constant acceleration appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Note regarding this edit: as you can verify, the book says "gravanol". See https://archive.org/details/venusequilateral0001smit/mode/2up?q=Gravanol . I have restored the original and added a source: [1]
By the way, when you made that edit, the edit summary says that this was a Newcomer task. Where and how did you get this task? - DVdm (talk) 09:19, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) Hello DVdm, it's new. See Wikipedia:Growth Team features. Regards! Usedtobecool ☎️ 09:59, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Usedtobecool: thanks, I have read some of that, but my question is, like, did someone (or some bot) tell user Cjs1 that "gravanol" was misspelled, or that there was some spelling mistake somewhere in that article and please try to find and corrrect it? Or did the new user just had to go find and correct spelling mistakes in random articles? Just curious... - DVdm (talk) 10:10, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
- Apparently it predicts which article needs what kind of fixes, based on maintenance tags, maybe more. I tried it myself, and it suggested to me a bunch of articles, and when I selected one, it asked me to find an improvement to make and save it; it did not suggest specific improvements beyond "here's a page which may require spelling and grammar fixes; find where and make them." things like specifically asking to change "gravanol" to "gravol" is apparently under development and testing in smaller 'pedias, and called Structured tasks. - Ok, thanks and cheers! - DVdm (talk) 10:48, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
